Fructose in fruit isnt bad at all. It is only bad if you are a couch potato. You need to get your facts straight.

@@SugarMDs Exactly, and what I am telling you is fructose raises my blood sugar according to my glucose monitor nearly as much as having processed sugars. For me, the spike in sugar is not worth it. The best thing you can tell your patients, and I hope you are, is test everything and adjust your diet accordingly. As for being a "couch potato," I have made many lifestyle changes including riding my bike anywhere from 25 to 75 miles per week (depending on weather).
