I just got mine yesterday. I have the brushed version already, but the brushless speed is going to take some getting used to. The steering is also a lot more twitchy than the brushed. Keeping the front end down and steering flips are challenging. A transmitter with throttle EPA and steering dual rate adjustments would really help with that. I upgraded to the aluminum shocks with 60w oil since I run mostly hard surfaces. Thanks for the review!

I have to update my original post, after reading the instruction manual (always a good thing to do). You actually can adjust the dual rate of the steering and throttle on the included transmitter pressing the '+' and '-' buttons while the truck is on a stand. The '-' throttle button will decrease the speed, and the '-' steering button will decrease the steering amount enough that high speed turns don't flip it so quickly.

Mini T 2.0 Brushless is definitely the best bang for buck. Straight out of the box it would be great for some carpet racing, even clay.

Drew here is what im going to do. These are for durability. Carbon fiber shock towers front and rear. Rear hub set. Rear pivot block set. Hex set rear axle. Front pivot aluminum. Caster blocks and of course aluminum front and rear shocks. I would say do the shocks and towers 1st. That's what i did on my mini t brushless conversion. I will be doing a video of all this in the next few weeks. Hope this helps.

I got the the anniversary edition. How does that compare to those two? Do the motors have to be broken in? I seen video of people submerging them in alcohol to break them in. I had to replace the front tower. My son drove it into a fence. I ordered him a Traxxas Teton.

Because you want those pieces to break....cheaper to fix. If those parts are aluminum, the shock of any impact goes to deeper into the chassis breaking harder go repair parts of the car. Although they look cool...not where i upgrade...in my opinion.
