Love the updates. That front skid came out amazing!

I purchased a roll of 5D carbon fiber wrap and cut out some DIY chassis protectors at a fraction of the cost of a pre-cut protector for a couple of my rigs it's worked out really well, and saved a couple bucks in the process it looks real sweet and it's functional. There's a huge variety available on eBay check it out. I like the repurposed bumper / front skid . I'm thinking about making a pair for my hyper 10sc thiis rig has really caught my eye I find it to be a well-put-together RTR cheers

Great buggy, but did you notice the front end slop? I stopped at the local hobby shop and it seems really loose. The ball ends and the bearings maybe?
@krlaturn4 жыл бұрын
RC4X4 yes it does have slop in the front. I remember the SCTEs had slop as well. But not sure if it was this bad. I think they are using the original SAE ball ends with metric screws. But it does not seem to affect the handling. I’m not planning on racing this so it’s fine with me

@@krlaturn The Buggy seems top notch though. I'm gonna get one and will look at that more when I get one. They sure look nice in person compared to just seeing them on the internet. I like the Lucas Oil one. The servo will probably be changed as it's not not the best. I wonder why they couldn't put their next best servo in it. Oh well.

Bill Perri I have a large dirt area with a lot of hills and whoops. It’s where I ran the scbe. I haven’t taken the DB yet due to work and weather.

Buggy looks great Ans your video’s are top👍👍 just subscribed👍 can you tell iff the diffs are easy accessable? Thanx👍
@krlaturn4 жыл бұрын
Friso Fox the ten platform is based on an 8th scale buggy design so it pretty much the same as a 1/8 buggy to access the diffs. Good news though! Losi actually used silicone fluid in the diffs and they feel good! I haven’t felt a need to change the shock or diff fluid out of the box. Losi dialed it in pretty well!

Bulletproof RC thanx👍👍 I know how to wrench but I just don’t like having to take a whole front apart to get to a diffcase. Once owned a losi eight 3.0 buggy and that was more work then for instance with the Arrma models where its just 4 screws and that’s bassicily it. Can you tell iff the arrma s are easier to work on?
@krlaturn4 жыл бұрын
Friso Fox not sure about the Arrma. It’s probably more like the Losi 3.0 you had. Four screws on the bottom, then remove the shock tower and front steering plate to get the bulkhead out

Do you have any plans to upgrade the A arms on this or doesnt it need it?
@krlaturn4 жыл бұрын
sickhcivc I don’t think upgrading the A-arms is necessary. I’ve “Big Air” jumped mine over 40 times without any issues at all. I mean jumping 10-12 feet in the air and landing 50’ long! This is a very durable rig!

sickhcivc check out my Instagram. This short clip is my buddy jumping over his head! Only upgrade on his DB is front/rear chassis brace. instagram.com/p/B_csQZHgR3A/?igshid=nkkbgdhbndq0
