your appreciation for this great Rush song really shines thru and of course the skill it takes to tackle Rush is incredible!

Rush is my all-time fav band and has been since 87. I’m a play-time drummer but can appreciate your skills man. You kit sounds great from what I can tell and loved watching you get into it. Maybe someday I can be as skilled. Bravo!

Thanks very much for the kind words! Rush has been the soundtrack of my life since around '82 when I heard my cousin drum to Signals. Been in love (and in awe) with Rush ever since!

Great cover. I like the sound of that A custom just wish it was just a little louder in the mix.

as a young man my friends always said this song sucked, as a 59 year old drummer whos been fairly succesful for 40 years it brings a tear the words cut deep now

Absolutely - the words hit much closer to home as we age. The struggle is real. Very emotional song. I've had recent health issues that have made it difficult to play. Hoping very much it is only temporary. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Very kind of you to check on me, thank you. It is quite ironic this was my last drum cover, as I've been somewhat losing it these past few months. I visited a chiropractor for the first time ever to attempt to ease some lifelong hip pain, and I am convinced he injured my spine. This caused me massive amounts of nerve and joint pain. My body reacted with rampant inflammation within a couple days of the visit, so much that I had to be on two different steroids (taken sequentially) and more pain meds than I've ever taken in my life. I am very slowly improving, and not sure how long before I'll feel up to posting more, but I hope soon. Thank you again for your concern, I really appreciate it!

@@jon325 My grandparents would drag me with them to their Chiro-quack as a young boy. Looked more like a medieval torture chamber than a actual Dr.'s office. Mind you this was the early 70's. The popping and the groans coming out of those rooms as well as the visual stimulation of the devices in action...turned me away from anything Chiro related for life. Man I'm sorry you're having to go through all that. Sincerely hope you get your issues resolved. Life is hard enough sometimes, with out having to be in constant pain. Cheers, mate! 🍻

Ya, I would’ve taken my hip pain over this 100 times over. It has been quite horrible. Thank you again for your concern and I hope to be back at it again soon.
