I self harmed two days ago after being one year clean. I feel terrible. I know relapses happen tho, I'm working on it in therapy. Thank you for your videos!

Talking about this really helps me not feel so lonely, isolated, and hopelessly broken. Thank you. Self harm makes me feel so... pathetic.

I hate that some people think you cut yourself so you must be emo or want attention. That's pisses me off.

Ugh i feel this...I haven't self harmed in 1 year and 4 months and i have no idea who i am anymore. I started self harming 10 years ago when i was 13 and all these years i only saw myself as "the girl who self harms". And now i feel like an empty shell, but my anxiety keeps me from trying new stuff so i'm just sitting around, doing nothing all day long :/

Wowowow I didn’t realize I was also struggling with this. I think about it, talk about it to myself, how I associate things, linking anything with self harm, every day. It’s just such a big part of my life, even if the actual sh is few and far between. As per usual you made me feel accepted and understood ❤️

This video is amazing, especially option 3. Stepping outside myself although difficult, was an enormous stepping stone in my current recovery. Your channel is such a wonderful resource, keep changing the world!💗💞💖💕

You are so underrated. you talk about very important topics and you don't even have 10,000 subscribers! You barely have comments and this is sad- I am subscribed. Love your videos ✨

Hi, self harm used to be a huge part of my life. It probably at one point heavily intertwined with how I identified. I've been coming to terms with my scars and why I self harmed and your videos have really helped. I'm nearly a year clean from it now.

Number 3 and 5 are my fav. 5 really resonates with my recovery philosophy. A lot of people who self harm end up with a BPD diagnosis (or others) and not knowing who you are is a common symptom, as well as self-harm. From my experience; in my younger years I was so obsessed with self harm that I forgot who I was. Then again at 27. Today I’m not sure, but I’m not trying to figure it out. I’m more interested in what I do with my time❤️

Sometimes I feel like I'm not even doing a bad thing. I don't do it to hurt myself it's more of an impulse/addiction. I know it's not a good coping strategy but I don't think I do it in a bad way so it makes it confusing if and why I should stop

Is it possible that you could make a video about how to “hide” self harm scars or if there’s a way to not het scars? I don’t feel “ready” to show anyone my scars so it would be extremely helpful.
@Selfharmerproblems3 жыл бұрын
Hi! No, I would never make a video on tips for hiding scars. I feel there's just too big of a potential for it to promote self harm instead of recovery

I don’t feel like I have any mental health issues but for some reason I still cut- also what if I don’t like the things I use to do? Lately my hobby has been sitting in my room just going on my phone/laptop, crying, and stress eating
