passengers fell onto the island in 2004, and they fell into the past (in 1977) in 2007. they couldn’t remember Ben and everything about the island in 2004: then they still didn’t know anything and didn’t know anyone on the island

Basically, it's the bootstrap paradox. A part of which includes: the idea that the past is influenced by the present and the future; also, "Whatever happened, happened." Try as you might, you can't change anything. Whatever you try to do, has already been done.

Ben continued to live among the Dharma people, but was a spy for others for many years, and after killing his father with gas, he became their full member

Between Sayid's attempted murder of 12 year-old Ben and Jack's refusal to treat him, these two "pillars of morality" managed to prove how monstrous they could be. Dude, Kate did not lie about Aaron being her son to protect the O6. She did it to use Aaron as her personal comfort blanket. The show had made that clear. Why are you still making excuses for her, when Kate had stopped making excuses.

I think Samraq has a better handle on this time travel than Zara. There is no alternate path for Ben. Read the title of the episode - "What happened, happened". Rewatch Miles explanation (he pretty much says the same thing) - Ben was always shot, and always survived the way he did, because Sayid was always there to shoot him, and Kate/Juliet/Sawyer were always there to help him, and Ben always grew up to betray the Dharma people and gas his own father.

here is Kate, trying to act all sympathetic, boo hoo-ing to Cassidy and trying to help Ben to make up for her selfish act of kidnapping a child. Cassidy straight up tells her she did it for herself. Killer, liar, adulteress, kidnapper and general ability to properly hear directions and then promptly disobey them and mess everything up... typical selfish Kate. She is the WORST

@Lostinorder108 well, technically one of the has to be the best. It's like a turd sandwich contest. yeah one wins best sandwich.... but it's still a turd sandwich. Relate that to Kate as you will

I didn't like the whole Kate love triangle story from the first few seasons. I actually think her story was pretty strong once she became Aaron's mother, whether you view her as a kidnapper or someone acting benevolently. It's not like Claire was around to take care of Aaron, so someone needed to, and when they made the decision to lie, they had no concept of Claire having a mother who might be able to take care of him.
