Grandad said in an earlier episode, "us Trotters have never made good sailors". So it all ties together. Mind you, this was the only boat Uncle Albert was on that never sank. 🤣

Tbf, when Albert arrived for Grandad’s funeral, he told Rodney he’d worked in boiler maintenance. He never said anything about having steered a ship.

Uncle Albert should have worn his Captain Birdseye hat, like he did in The Jolly Boy's Outing. This was one of the few maritime scenes in Only Fools and Horses.
