LOST: Daniel and Charlotte meet up [6x17-18 - The End]

I think Dan and Charlotte will get to fall in love and be together in this life before they realize who they were and move on to the next like Jack and the rest did. It seems they all had to fulfill certain dreams and wishes to be happy and be able to move on (Kate got to be innocent, Jack got over his father issues and realized he could be a good father, Claire had her baby and didn't put him up for adoption and found her brother and Charlie, Charlie stayed in the band with his brother and found Clair, etc.). Now Dan and Charlotte didn't get to have a proper romance on the island and I think they will here and once they do they will continue to what comes next.

Remember what Desmond said when Eloise asked if he was going to take her son. "Not with me, no." Time may not exist in the sideways world the same way it does in reality but it's implied they moved on at some point.

They answered that in Desmond's exchange with Eloise. If he wanted to, he could have arranged their awakening. He chose not to, though, to avoid hurting Eloise.
