Stealth prequels do happen in Digimon sometimes. Look at Appmon vs Ghost Game

I do wish it wasn't machine translated, but it's been really fun so far, and the dock is a neat little reference, because iirc the DMOG is called a dock in the C'mon Digimon oneshot Also, I'm rather envious of both you and Eiji for having Accels

I have adhd and dyslexia. So I prefer listening to it. Listening to it while I'm at work is also lovely. I've been just listening to digimon movies and series.

Even tho it's machine translated, the built-in translation feels like it has some sort of human input, because it's not as bad as Google's translation.

"Nobody had anything to say about this... Digimon Dock" Me, who spent at least 10 hours total rambling about how cool and interesting the prototype dock was: -_-

A reading from someone who knows Japanese like you would be cool, since the ones I've seen arr just reading the site translation. A tweak or two in the weird parts of the text would be interesting.

That would require me brushing up on dw3 all over again, but yeah that'd be cool. Social commentary on modern tech seems like something they've wanted to do for a long time, and for an actual attempt there are a lot of hints of nuance. Here's hoping.

lol that warning at the beginning. Do people really leave browser translators active at all times instead of activating it when they need it? Come on people. About Seekers itself, I liked if fine for a first chapter. I didn't have any big problems with the writing (in Japanese), and while the machine translation is overly literal and gets the usual errors it's not unreadable. About the writing style, yeah this is a webnovel, content that is made to be read quickly on phone. Don't expect a lot of long prose or anything of the sort. For people who never read this kind of content it does take some getting used to. I'm also surprised by how cool the live action trailers were, I was thinking that would just be some cringy waste of money but it's a pretty nice compliment to the chapters. I expect the events shown in the trailer will play out during chapter 1, given the first part already set up the Black Agumon hunt and stuff. I also like the setting and also thought about Cyber Sleuth first. Even Grimm sounds like an iteration of Eden (but without the Full Dive VR stuff), and it being described as hellscape of shitposting does reflect modern social media pretty well lmao. Grimm is probably built on blockchain technology given that Digicoin is mostly used inside it. It's basically a world where blockchain shit was actually used for more than scam people, which I think is fine. Digimon is always taking whatever is current in "future of internet technology" and extrapolating it to ridiculous extents.
