This album is the peak in terms of technical musicianship combined with cohesive songwriting. Doesn’t mean there are not more technical bands or albums, or albums with better songwriting, but this is the best of both worlds. An album where Thrash guys and Prog guys can shake hands, while guys coming from the pop perspective (much alike you guys) can still appreciate the work without going overboard on the technicality. In my opinion, this album is without a doubt Top 5 metal albums of all time.

The album sounds like shit and the songs are moronic. Dave was zonked out of his mind writing this stuff. There are limits to stupidity and Mustaine crossed them this time too far.
