after all these years this was the most groundbreaking Single Player RPG I played. I mean look at the culture, the architecture, it's truly such an immersive experience.
@13lackhoodАй бұрын
So true, i can remember how i felt walking around and seeing all the different flora and fauna in each its own distinct locale, something i feel many RPG´s today lack, properly not helper by fast travelling becoming a thing, also the fact the levitation was a thing mean the world was not just flat but something you could explore from all angles, remember after my first playthrough i did again as an argonian(the no need for waterbreating made a huge difference given the way water was EVERYWHERE)

Best thing about this game is that even by just walking around looking at the night sky, you feel amazing and part of the world. Thats how a game stays relevant after 20 years. Muthsera to all!

I remember being able to craft spells in Morrowind. I dont remember being able to do that in Oblivion or Skyrim. I made a spell that would summon a flame, frost and storm antronach (sp?) at the same time to fight for me. i called the spell Earth, Wind and Fire after the band. Man, that spell cost a ton of mp but was so fun to use!
@Taelindril9 ай бұрын
You could craft spells in Oblivion they had it in the Arcane University it was in one of the locations in the back of the University.

@@jerryamescua nope. I could find a magic table. Those hexagonal ones with the blue writing and make my spells. I kind of remember the spell manufacturing in oblivion. I think I dropped it when I realized I couldn't recreate my favorite spell in morrowind.

I love how you make these! It reminds me of those times playing the game and then getting distracted, having it playing in the background as I then get tired and fall asleep listening to the brilliance of Jeremy Soule and the added effects of what's going on currently at the location I am in the game. Same goes for Skyrim or Oblivion. Absolute masterpiece games, likely due mostly in part to the music!

I remember playing this game 2004 ish? And this kid at my high school had this bible of a book that had all of the Morrowind tips and secrets. Would be writing down secrets and taking them home to test them out. That to me is why Morrowind is King in my mind. You were forced to figure it out on your own or socialize to learn about the game because it was so vast. That dude was super chill and cool asf. I always get along with Morrowind fans.

Big fan of ESO and Skyrim. I'm yet to try the oldies. Which game has better story; Morrowind or Oblivion?
@Knochenhosentyp10 ай бұрын
Morrowind have the better setting and fantastic worldbuilding. Because of Story, both have great addons/dlc. Mainstory is meh, but the guildquests was way better. Assassin's of oblivion was fantastic because of "Last guest" or so
@moonknight133110 ай бұрын
I would try Oblivion first. It is rather similar to ESO and Skyrim, so you won't be completely faced with the unknown. In my personal opinion, Morrowind's main quest is more interesting due to its strong sense of mystery and suspense, while Oblivion is your classical Lord-of-the-Rings-saving-the-world-storyline. The side quests and especially the guilds are way more interesting in Oblivion though.

We need a remake of Morrowind or Oblivion. Skyrim's world is too dull, too boring. It's so, so bleak.
@aevvah_flxwer85507 ай бұрын
I disagree. Skyrim can be green, colourful and vibrant as well, depending on where you are. And it's a northern province set in the middle of dragon crisis and civil war; it isn't supposed to look bright and vibrant like Cyrodiil was in Oblivion. This reminds me of when people say MW has no colours and that it's boring bc of all the text dialogue. Also, Skywind and Skyblivion are on the way; they'll take a few years, but we will get to play them, someday.
@mariorodrigues32766 ай бұрын
Morrowind is still being developed now you have Access to the full Dark Elven country ... After you install the latest Patch of tamriel rebuilt, you can improve graphics to 2014 standards... Loads of new quests, say good bye to the real life... Maybe better not...
@atmosphere32734 ай бұрын
