Yeah, my dad taught me about using playing cards when you need to be able to adjust something in small increments. Super useful in the right circumstance!

Sometimes my hand slips and I mess, completely ruining an entire roll of tape. I have all of these things and I am going to try this first thing tomorrow. This will make things soo much easier for me.

Excellent tip! Readymade thin model-making tapes can be expensive, and some widths are only available in a narrow gamut of colors. I'm going to have to add a deck of cards to my toolbox. Subscribed!

@@LostWax I am using it for tabs for charts I use constantly. The other ones come off too easily or are hard to find. I think I am using white duct tap that is 1/2 wide so cutting it smaller.

I think I used Liquitex basics acrylic paint, and yep it was waterproof. It also never hurts to give it a coat of some sort of clear acrylic.

You could use the broken off part of a exacto knife. Wouldn't be as expensive as a scalpel blade.

Great tip! If you used a C-clamp for more pressure (and maybe another piece of stir stick on top of the knife) you probably wouldn't even have to glue it.
