Interesting summary. Lovely car. My car is a Yellow S3, but the original colour (traces here and there) looks very similar to the colour of your S2. I've really enjoyed watching all your well-made videos. You'll have to do another restoration.

I've only driven it about 60 miles so far, so I'm not the person to advise you about driving an Elan :)

If it's wet, halve your speed and double your distance. I have owned my Elan since 1970, and that was the advice I was given.
