Is this good for a final wash? There are a lot of silicones stuck to my hair, and instead of growing out my hair for the purpose of cutting all that plastic out of my hair I'm looking for a homebrewed shampoo that will get all those nasty silicones out of my hair for good.

For getting rid of silicone build up I'd recommend using an Apple cider vinegar rinse and letting it sit for 45 minutes. After that shampoo with Trader Joe's tea tree tingle and deep condition. I shared all the details in this video bit.ly/3ER4qBw Hope this helps 💜

Hey i bought the stuff on amazon. Going to try it and let you know i have really long super curly dry surf hair!! Also dry scalp so im hoping this will help me. Sounds like you didn't add enough Qasil powder. This is what turns the shampoo green and it is also what contains the saponins that cleanse the hair. Make sure you use the amount Qasil powder I shared in my recipe.

henna can be used as a scalp exfoliant replacement but I don't think it has the cleansing + moisturizing properties that qasil powder does. 💞
