Hello Lou C.I don't know if you know , there is one liqueur from walnuts which is very beneficial for the thyroid gland a sip a day .Here in Bulgaria, many people make their own , is very useful especially for women.And you could make your own if you sell walnuts in shell .I saw that in your mix there is and walnuts.If there are walnut trees in Japan, you can also make your own.There are two types of recipe of fresh and dry walnuts.And the other thing which is very important it is extremely useful , far as I know to stop gluten when you want to treat the thyroid gland .Cabbage is not ok, and all of his family .Soothing teas .,And also a necklace , of amber I know it helps with that. If there is nuts in shell to you and you want to make your own liqueur write me for the recipe it is very easy.And delicious.You also need vitamin D drops as much as your doctor prescribes Research is being done on it as well ,but you have to take.See you soon, I wish you success and luck 🙇🌹

Lou, when those bad thoughts come in your head chase them away by saying 'no I am doing great and I am happy'. Don't let those bad thoughts win because you are doing wonderfully. You have achieved goals, you have friends who care about you and a family that loves you.

@@LouCslife Lou, you have friends all over the world, when you’re feeling down remember that! I wonder if we told you what countries, or parts of countries, prefectures in Japan, us states etc you could get a mark and put a ‘x’ from a friend on the map. Then you can easily see the love, support and friendship at a glance x

Just a small tip i just recently learned myself: store oats in an opaque container, since vitamins like B1 get destroyed by sunlight.
@RememberMeYeah11 ай бұрын
I’d like to make a suggestion, Lou C. Before you refill your jars and container with newly purchased nuts, seeds, rice, or oatmeal etc, if there is still a small amount in the bottom of the jar or container, pour it out into a bowl, then fill the jar or container with the new item and then put what you emptied into the bowl on top so you will eat that older bit first instead of it being left at the bottom of container time after time. Then it can get rancid and that rancid taste can permeate through the whole container to the new product.

Hi Lou, just to say I’ve also been experiencing problems with my thyroid and emotional ups and downs, so I can relate. When I find myself overwhelmed with thoughts I try to remember that they’re like clouds blocking the sun, and the sun is always there, even if it’s cloudy for years. It helps to know I’m not my thoughts, like sometimes there’s an evil looking cloud or a cloud that looks cute

Hi Lou, its great to see this new video from you! That soup looks delicious. I'm much older than you, but when I went through a terribly difficult period in my life, and had severe physical and emotional issues for a long time, I learned how to aggressively distract myself. This was not positive thinking, which did not work well in my case, but fiercely distracting myself with anything that took my mind off my troubles for a bit: reading, art, sewing, redecorating my house, going out, even movies, games, anything that worked. I also volunteered to moderate an online forum for others going through the same thing. Now, all that is in the past, and I still use my distraction skills when needed. 🌺

I can well relate to you. I hope you overcome these problems with time. I had a thyroidectomy in 2018 due to thyroid cancer, am of course on thyroid hormones and get regular blood work done to always be well adjusted with my meds. In the very beginning after the surgery I went through horrible mood swings, weight gain, high blood pressure and hair loss. But with time and meds it got better. But taking the right dosage of the hormones is so important! Also I follow a special diet, some food groups are better avoided with thyroid issues. I bought a book at the time to help me! You might want to see your doctor and discuss these matters.

Hi Lou C, I know the feeling about living in Japan alone and having to deal with negative thoughts plus your health. I lived alone in Viet Nam. I'm Vietnamese. I sometimes deal with negative. Sometimes you just have to take life one step at a time and don't take life for granted. Expect with unexpected. Life can be so unpredictable. Just focus on your goals and achieve those goals. You can accomplish anything only if you set your mind to it. Don't let anyone or anything intervene in your life and your goals. You're not alone. You have a friend and family that truly care about you. Take care. Your friends Thanh Long

Most people don't know this, but there is a proper way to stock a fridge for safety. Put the meat on the bottom and veggies on top in case the raw meat leaks it won't get onto your veggies which you might eat raw and could make you sick. We do this in restaurants here.

I've watched a few of your videos now and find them very calming and soothing. I'm a advanced stage 4 cancer patient, it's everywhere and especially bad in my spinal column. It's forced me to no longer be able to work and do many things I used to do. Pain from the spine is horrible, I get so scared as you may understand.....since 3 months ago I have developed a inoperable fracture in one of my vertebrae.....and along with that came anxiety. I have never experienced anxiety in my life until now. And it's overwhelming in my mind. Anxiety is so nasty, as you would understand. Some days I just cry all day. And like yourself, I live in a very socially isolated. It's the icing on the cake, my mind can't cope well with it but I watch your channel and feel pure zen. I thank you for this.
