Hello. I have been watching your videos for a long time. Of course, thank you for the translation. What I really like is that you show the prices of food and restaurants. I would love to see how much food and other things are in other countries! Another point: your purchases are selected according to your needs. And it is bought carefully. This is a very positive piece. And the next point: giving importance to nutrition means taking time to cook and spending part of your income to go to restaurants and eat foods that may be difficult and time-consuming to prepare at home or anything else....! It pleases me that you spend part of your income on it. These were the things I learned from you and loved. Good luck🥰

Dear Lou I found you when i was very sick a month ago. When i got cured i felt i didnt recover from my sickness and it turned out i remained sick until this very day because of my feelings towards myself, and a especialy loved one to me. Your daily routines helped me a lot, you distracted me from these feelings and my overthinking was much better thanks to you and to my soulmate. I just wanted to thank you really, i can tell from one of your videos u are struggling with mental dificulties as well, and any of you who are reading this comment and struggling with life you are doing great and keep the good work up, as Lou's board used to say "Wake up with determination!" Thank you Lou once again, i hope you will upload more videos in the future, stay safe.

Happy to see a new video from you and see that you are doing well. Yes, prices have really gone up for food and everything else but watching what you have on your menu has gotten me to adjust mine a bit. Breakfast has been toast (I like Japan bread) with cream cheese or oatmeal with fruit and chia, lunch is a fruit smoothie and I try to make a nice dinner. The problem with stews and such (like pinakbet) is that there is no such thing as a single serving so what to do with the leftovers. I also don't care to eat the same meal the next day so my practice has been using vacuum food storage and place the leftovers in the freezer. That way too meal time is just a quick microwave minute away. Sorry for the long comment but I just feel that you are talking to me and I like talking back to you. Anyway, 'nuff for now. Stay well. Blessings. Peace.

Do you use the same chopping board for both your veg and meat? Best practise is having different boards for them as there's a risk of salmonella cross contamination. Also, you have a lot of carbohydrates in your diet and hardly any greens. Is it hard to find fresh veggies in Japan? Almond milk: something that might not be mentioned in most recipes is you need to "blanch them". Best recipe is I usu soak them in filtered water overnight (at least 16hrs) to activate them (which brings out most nutrients) then boil them in boiling water for 90 seconds then remove their skins. The boiling and skin removal is blanching. The reason u need to blanch them is because if you don't, it will prohibit iron uptake. After taking their skin off, put them in a good blender, add water and blend away. Depending on how good your blender is some recommend straining the result through a cheesecloth to get rid of the grit but I like the texture so ymmv. Pour the almond milk into your jar and fridge it. If you want it to last longer I'd blend in some Medjool dates (dunno if u can find those in Japan, maybe use some other dates?) in. You can also add vanilla essence for flavour or whatever flavour you want. The dates will help to keep it longer because of the sweetness but all in all you can't really keep it too long. Maybe 2 days, "undated", and an extra 1-2 days with dates. Good luck.

Thank you, Lou, for another calming video. It is so beautiful in Japan, with all of the natural beauty as well as the colorful adverts, packaging and so many delicious looking dishes, from your home as well as restaurants. I also remember to wash my curtains twice a year, but I hang mine back up on the window as soon as they come out of the washing machine. In that way, my window is only bare for 40 minutes or so, and I avoid one more step and possible wrinkles. I learned from your video that I should be cleaning my humidifier also. Thank you for that. Have a great work week!

A thought for next time. When your done with your chicken mix the egg with the flour and bread crumbs and fry them like a pancake or in little balls.
