Loud Bryant Inducer Motor

I doubt you’ll answer this but I gotta try…I have a furnace pretty much identical. My tech said the inducer was making the rattling noise (bearing) he lubed it up and it went away for a year. Now I’m back dealing with it. I’m very tempted to just replace the entire inducer fan assembly myself, but tentative about messing with anything gas related. In your experience, is this particular model/brand easy to replace? Bryant 383KAV036070AGJA That assembly popped off so easily. Mine is old but in great condition. Probably would pop off easy too. thx for the video!

It's easy to replace, but I would really consider checking the heat exchanger dimples for cracks

I have used gear pullers and more PB. (It stinks, it works) on those when I had to. They all but cold weld.

I just had one of them, same issue with the noise, it had a stripped screw hole on that top plate allowing the wheel to rub on inside plate

Thanks for your Videos! I have seen you check a couple flame sensors with your multimeter, if time allows on the next one could you go into detail on how to do that? I have that same furnace and my inducer motor whines really loud. I put a paper clamp on it and it reduced the noise for awhile but this winter it's getting loud again.

Sometimes the old inducer motors could be oiled. Are the new ones not able to be oiled with light oil? Thanks for the video.

I had one of these not to long ago and didn’t have the motor and couldn’t get one at 1 am so I used 10 zip ties to hold it just right for the night lol

That inducer motor assembly is a replacement as well. Probably won't last long before it craps out all together.
