A friend of mine had a seizure during Slipknot a few years ago. He fell over and cracked his head on the rail. He refused to go get help and finished the show bleeding. I worked for a popular radio station then and had backstage passes. my friend worried he'd miss it all going to get stitched up. We met Corey and he couldn't have been nicer. he told my friend to go get cleaned up and Corey waited for him and chatted and took pics with him! Best celebrity encounter I've ever had.

Gene Simmons is a proud and shameless sell-out that wears the fact he'll put the KISS logo on anything that will make him money as a badge of honor so I don't think anyone expects him to be anything other than a raging egomaniac that makes everyone present want to fight him. Prince was allegedly the same way. Massively talented but also such a narcissist nobody would call interacting with him a pleasant experience.

You talk about a hug from a legendary musician?? An amazing hug that I got is also in relation to Rob Halford. I got to meet Satchel from Steel Panther (former FIGHT guitarist with the Metal God as the singer) and I got to pour my heart out about my love for Steel Panther and I got the biggest smile and hug offered to me off Satchel and I accepted it. A memory I’ll never forget ❤️

Judas Priest was my introduction to metal, as the very first metal band I ever listened to. To hear you got the Halford Hug, brought a tear to my eye. I'm jealous of the rest you've interviewed, but I cannot imagine embracing the one to show you the light and darkness, joy, pain, sorrow, and ecstasy of enlightenment in your calling. I envy you till my passing. Long live metal and also Loudwire for this page. Thank you so much. xD
