I love finding out about musician playing video games and how that inspires them in their music. I'm the same way. I'd love to be a musician and make music and stuff for sound tracks! I remember playing games like Apocalypse, the suffering, tekken, etc. and thats what got me into all kinds of music. Mick Gordon is a sick musician, got me into playing 8 string!

Doom was so cool tge first time i seen it! i didnt get a computer till i was like 14 in 2001, so when i was like 9-13, going to friends houses that had comps was fun thing to do , and when i went to my bud pauls, his dad was playing a game on his comp, and it was doom! it was so crazy too see, i never knew computers could play games like that! i had only ever played games at after school activies, an that was on apple 2 or somethin, n they were educationl games. when we got pc's in like 96ish, with windows 95, i stayed after school everyday to play this space ship flying shooter game, and it was a blast! the 30-40 some computers were all being played, everyday after school, from like 330-600! good memories
@FWDSUXARSE Жыл бұрын
I was 13 when the first Doom game came out and I remember how awesome it was to first play it at a friend's house. 6 years later I built my first computer out of the working parts from discarded computers. At the time it was still adequate with a Pentium II but after that I caught the PC gaming bug and built a much better one a few years later with new parts.

I was 14 and got called out of school by the principal…thought something was wrong…waiting in the office was my pops and I kept asking him why I was being taking out of school and he remained silent…we then pull into the mall parking lot and he leads me into Walden Software(like a Game Stop) and the employee goes into the back room and comes out with a FUCKIN N64….with Pilotwings and Mario 64(only games at release available) and I lost my mind…I cried like a baby, lol…and it didn’t come out for another week but my uncle actually knew someone and I was able to get it early…they actually had 5 consoles a week early and one was mine…even cooler, the next day of school parents let me play hooky and I stayed up almost 2 days in a row playing Mario64…the jump to 3-D, especially with Mario was so incredible….then I had Star Fox 64 and Mario Kart 64 posters on my wall and Nintendo Power sent out a promotional video for upcoming 64 games with Star Fox, Killer Instinct Gold(Awesome theme song btw, go listen to it), Wayne Gretzky’s 3D hockey, Ken Griffey Jr Baseball etc…I watched that fuckin tape literally 3-4 times a night, then would literally dream about Mario Kart 64 and Star Fox…I play them still on my DS….still have all my old consoles, Genesis, Atari, All 3 Nintendo consoles, PlayStation 1,2, Sega Saturn, Sega CD, Sega Dreamcast, Virtual Boy(which SUCKED). Good times man
