Questa non è una canzone.QUESTA CANZONE, CHE ABBRACCIA TUTTA LA MUSICA DELL UNIVERSO, DI UN GENIO INFINITO E INFINITO E INFINITO
@riccitarpey16042 жыл бұрын
I've heard hip hop, rock, pop. Electric. Soul. In my opinion. The best of all time. Nat King Cole was my Nans favorite. But when I was 6 my grandad said, Ricci listen to this man. My grandad had it on his old vinyl player. And then when I went to see no time to die. Iam glad I purchased tissue. I've said before. My daughter is 7.she loves this song so so much. It's important that young children get educated about real, real music back in the day. Louis, Nat, would be at my dinner table if I had the chance. Ben E King also. And and more. But Louis just edges it for me. Have a great evening guys.

He'd just had his second heart attack when John Barry asked him to sing this, John Barry is playing the trumpet for this, and Louis thanked John for letting him do this.

Love the string and trumpet arrangement on this track. The composer John Barry chose Louis Armstrong to sing it because he could deliver the title with irony. The lyric was also written by legendary lyricist Hal David (one of the very best) and it’s my favourite Bond song because it has a subtlety that the others lack.

The recording was made in the USA at A&M studios with the composer John Barry conducting. Louis Armstrong did not play the trumpet. This was the last recording Louis Armstrong ever made. The rest of the score for the film "On Her Majestys Secret Service" was recorded in London at CTS.

I was watching the tale end of the latest Bond movie and it's actually quite poignant hearing this and seeing Daniel Craig's demise as the spy. Was never a fan of his Bond but more of the previous Bond movies. Still one of the best Bond tracks out there...also doesn't help having just watched "Zombieland 2" beforehand...it would work well in that film credits too..

Are you aware this song was used in the 1969 James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Servive? Louis Armstong passed away in 1971, but left us with a legacy of great music.
