She was an ethics Teacher and did something completely unethical. I got the feeling she liked playing make-believe, in her story on how she grew up pretending a lot to be a sick person or someone in a wheelchair, etc. I think she made up a whole idealized version of someone in Derrick. Completely took advantage of a vulnerable individual. Used him in her game of make believe in the most brutal way as he can't speak for himself, can't defend himself, can't stop anything or consent. It was wrong. It was so wrong.

He's a very sharp dude but does a great job of playing the role of "slightly dumb southerner." It allows him to get away with stuff that would normally get people cancelled. That said, he's also very compassionate and caring of ALL people. It's no wonder that he's got such a solid fan base. He's hilarious, and he genuinely cares about others.

He’s a smart guy who pretends to act dumb in a smart way. It’s sarcasm. When he says a bluntly ignorant statement, most of the time he’s joking. The race comment he said was 100% a joke. It’s so clearly about disability but he pretends to miss it and focus on race. In a way he’s commentating on the American mindset to fixate on race in nearly every situation. He knows it’s about disability, and saw an opportunity to make a shrewd joke. Remember, his mom is a lawyer who went to Duke. He comes from a dysfunctional but highly intelligent family, and uses that background as the basis for his comedy.

10:48 Again, he is profoundly disabled and he never used to do that before. He was a teenager, in his twenties, in his early thirties, and didn’t do any of that. Just such a narrow understanding from Theroux. Like literal children will display those same behaviours after being abused, doesn’t mean it’s organic. Louis should know this from his docs with his friend Jimmy Saville, since he wanted to pretend he regretted than and was now educated on the topic, well guess not.

Anna definitely came across as narcissistic. But I wish they had done more facilitated communication testing after the romantic relationship was revealed. Like, why didn't they do the blind testing with them like they had done with other disabled people? Or tested more extensively with other people, other than Anna? There were some things that were inconsistent. Like, what about him typing up information on books that Anna supposedly hadn't even read? Not defending anyone, just asking some questions that weren't answered in the doc. Also, so glad I stopped watching this like a minute in and watched the doc before watching the rest of this video, because they left nothing up to the imagination, lol. Worth the watch though, if this comment and video hasn't discouraged you, lol.

They did, for the court case. The researcher couldn't even get him point to a picture of a refridgerator, as in he couldn't abstract the picture to the real object. And the essays on books she and the assistant facilitator hadn't read, well the assistant said he was "writing about the same characters her roommate was writing about" implying she was reading her roommates essays on the books. There has been alot of debunking of facilitated communication since it came out decades ago.

I watched the doc last night and re: the self pleasure, the mom’s concern didn’t seem to be the act itself, more that it was chronic and he had no concept of boundaries. Potentially as if he was doing it so much that it was causing him physical harm. He couldn’t do it traditionally due to his lack of control of his hands, so he was likely rubbing and grinding on all kinds of things to the point that he was maybe causing wounding of some kind, which could be dangerous because he is in diapers. You’ll see this kind of behavior in some disabled folks with food as well, where they have no concept of food being harmful when over consumed, but they enjoy the pleasure of eating yummy things. It can lead to serious weight and health issues. I had a cousin who was severely mentally challenged and she only ate bacon and listened to Christmas music. Who wouldn’t want to just eat bacon? But on top of her other conditions, she weighed about 400lbs and it became difficult for her elderly parents to care for her.

Milking 🤣🤣I was a "working girl" for some time in my twenties and there were a few disabled men who came in ,one in particular was difficult for us "working girls" to cope with because his mum would help bring him in as she was his carer ,we were young n had little to no understanding of the situation but looking back I think that wow what a great mum ,she recognised he had this need that wasn't being met so she got on with fixing that for him .We were all really kind n nice to the the "client " who had severe cerbal palsy but apparently had full mind capacity.I can remember feeling so friggen sad that this human being was normal in every way but his body would twist n twitch and it kept him trapped to so much of living .I can tell you with 100 percent honesty I cant recall one single client ,s face ( sorry guys but your just cash to us ) but I do remember his and his really awesome mum

Yes there is legit sex services & sex workers for disabled men and women. I've watched videos about it even being funded, as part of physical and mental/emotional help for disabled men and women. Alot of disabled people can feel isolated or unable to find sexual contact or just a connection of some sort in their life. It's a great service for those that need it.

I have a severely disabled cousin who was born with 7 major birth defects. He learned to scoot around on his bottom using his arms to pull forward. We would all be at a family gathering and you would feel and slap on your ankle and hear a grunt, looking down you see him trying to scoot through. We’d just say “oh sorry kiddo,” an add nd move out of his way. He learned to walk at 14 and never had had verbal abilities with language (physically impossible) he learned to sign a bit. Even though he seems “locked-up” mentally, he has fully knowing brain. But yes if someone woman started a “relationship” with him (he’s 40 now) it would be a crime

If its OK for a nurse to do that (which i don't think it is i think thats to do with a disabled couple needing help consummating) then an actual relationship would be better anyway wouldn't it? I don't think it would be ok generally but if there were nurses who did that which would actually make the patients life worse in the long run in my view then he might as well have an actual relationship with that woman. That through me for a loop. If a professional carer, ie a nurse, is...Well, if we don't call that abuse why is it an issue to be actually in love with someone...I don't think either is ok but imagine someone saying its ok for a stranger to jerk you off but you absolutely CANNOT do it with someone you know and trust and wants to do it..That's MENTAL.

I remember watching this doccie on BBC about this nurse that give s3xual services to profoundly physically disabled ppl. She sees it as part of her nursing job & does not view herself as a s3xworker. She makes sure they know its a medical service & not a relationship or anything of any sort. She has strict boundaries. The guys were pretty happy but it all just made me sad. And I was not convinced she was being as altruistic as she wanted to appear to be. I think she had some s3xual trauma & now can only be s3xual when she has most if not all the power. And a need for power corrupts.

The obsession with race in the US is a carefully constructed weapon created by foregin actors who infiltrated the universities in the 50's and 60's a weapon aimed solely at the White population, designed to demoralize and isolate them. Because it's easier to erode, attack and eventually erase then replace a group who is demoralized and isolated. It's happening in the UK too, just look how your kin treats age old institutions like Oxford University and speakers corner.

There's a movie I remember seeing years ago about a kid who got brain damage from led in paint. And having toy cars in his mouth from young. And they did this type writer thing on a computer about a carer who was raping him. Watching this documentary just made me think that if this kid was a girl or she was a man doing this to a young boy or girl we all would have heard about this long before the documentary. I hate to always have to make that point that it's different for men that it is for women. Cz it kind of takes away from how serious it is, at least in my mind. But I honestly am sickened that there are women in society committing sick crimes like this, where if the genders were swapped around then there would be more anger and outrage. She's vile and a rapist. And yet she gets to sit and talk calmly and taken seriously 🤢
