Thank you for honestly showing that moment in tidying up where everything looks so overwhelming and so much worse. I always get so discouraged at that stage. This has shown me that it gets that way even when you have an organizer and that is so encouraging!

Good morning Louise! I personally LOVE homey vlogs. I love all your vlogs but home bits are maybe my favourites! Sophie and her sister are so practical with their systems. I learned so much, even though I'm pretty organised myself!
@naomipomphrey8243 жыл бұрын
I completely know where you're coming from when you say I 'can' do it but it is not my strong suit.... having someone professional with ideas and vision is amazing. It is like Home moving.. you could do it yourself but the professionals do it so much better and quicker. I have neglected things in the house a bit as I have been doing other bits and am at the 'where do I start' point. This has helped get me more motivated to get started. Thank you 😊

I think that's a nasty way of looking at hiring someone to do the organization. That's like saying that her job is worthless and she's not needed, which is absolutely not the case. Don't let people make you second guess your self! You're a good person! Also I couldn't organize my own house properly, but I definitely could organize someone else's, so I'd absolutely be able to justify the service!
@Louisepentland3 жыл бұрын

'Why would you hire someone if you can do it yourself' such a weird question. You are just asking for help which is completely ok. Some people are really good at these things so why not ask them for help.

I am late to this video but I can not explain how encouraging it was to me. I struggle so much to keep my room tidy and organized in a way that looks aesthetically pleasing and it makes me feel like I’m failing so often. I have roommates and one in the past was very judgmental of my space but I have a new one that has kindly offered to help me redo my room in a way that will work for me but I have been to embarrassed to begin… like I feel like I need to make it look better before she can help and to see someone that I very much look up to also saying hey something it looks like this and sometimes you need help… just thank you!!!

I also think organising can be a bit overwhelming so to have someone there who is really good at it and can help takes a lot of pressure off you. I know for me I keep putting off the bedroom. We live in a flat and I have no idea how to organise it and there's a lot to get rid of so if I had a Sophie i'd definitely get one :)

(Sorry if this is wrong of me to ask) Do you find it hard to sort the girls' toys out because of the way your things were handled when you were a kid?
@Louisepentland3 жыл бұрын
This is actually a REALLY good question. In short, I don't. I never take toys away as punishment, make threats or destroy belongings (which was my childhood). I lovingly pick which things I know they're not fussed about. With Darcy it's easy because we can discuss it and Pearl is starting to understand the, 'give it to another little girl now' concept. As long as things are done with compassion, I'm a-ok. I'm VERY grateful to live in a happy home now xxxxxxx
