I love brussel sprouts. I am from Atlanta which is to home of Chick Fil A. I recently found out they are trying a new item a new menu item which is a cauliflower sandwich. Made a similar dish a few nights ago with jasmine rice instead of pasta. That store bought alfredo sauce has no good flavor, so you've gotta add something to it. After cooking the bacon I cooked carrots, sprouts and onions with a little kosher salt. Then added organic garlic powder (because I had no fresh garlic), red pepper flakes and black pepper. Added the bacon and alfredo sauce, that's when I tasted it and discovered that alfredo sauce was just too bland and then added some smoked gruyere and aged parmesan. When I added the jasmine rice it just seemed too dry so threw in a little half and half and mixed it up well and more gruyere and parmesan on top, and since my jasmine rice and the vegetables were already piping hot I just baked it long enough to brown the cheese on top a little. It was okay, but that store bought alfredo sauce just didn't make that big of an impression, and I bought three jars of it.
