Thank you. I'll try this one. Funny your husband Michael was terrified of peas as a kid. I was forced to eat one bean from a can of pork and beans, but I would cut that one bean into pieces. We probably had canned pork n beans once a month. I guess, parents try to have kids eat different foods, so they are not picky eaters. Love Paula Deen's checkered pink and white top. So cute. I think she would look good in a red bandana top too. Dressing casual can be fun. Almost daily for a few years now, I watch Paula Deen and her family sharing recipes in videos. My old veg,casserole from a magazine 1970,,2 cups of veg,quick boil,,cool,,4 large eggs,1/4 cup mayo,1/4 cup sour cream,1/4 cup flour,1 tea,baking powder,1 tea corn starch,salt,pepper,1/2 cup shredded cheese cheddar? Swiss?Gruyere?any,I use cheddar,1/2 cup parmigiana grated,mix everything,top with some shredded cheese,pour in dish,Bake350.50mi,very good,I made it with zucchini,Broccoli,cabbage,

Yummie! Did you know if you have garlic or onion smell on your hands, you can get rid of it by rubbing your hands on a stainless spoon! It works.

My child didn’t like peas, so I’d hide them under the mashed potatoes….🤣😂🤣 that kid could spit the peas back out at me whole 🙄 once he tasted an English pea salad…. He was hooked, in fact, I have to double my recipe during the holidays, got him and my grandsons!

When I was a youngun, we had to eat everything on our plates, no wasting, and it didn't matter if you liked it or not. Most other younguns would save what they didn't like to eat til the last. Not me, I went ahead and choked it down first so's I could enjoy the rest of the meal and not be left with the taste of something I didn't like lingering in my mouth. And surely most folks have mixed peas with mashed taters just to make it more palatable. But I hated it when folks added green peas to soup, cause it took forever to find them all.
