Be sure and find your mom's recipe because this recipe sucks! Paula has lost her mind with Frozen pie dough, canned soups , easy recipes that a child could do blindfolded. She must really need the money to be on camera like this doing a video. Super sad but not really sad it's stupid

Thank you, thank you, thank you! My grandma made a butterscotch pie to die for and I had her recipe until hurricane Katrina took it and everything else I owned. Ive been hunting a similar recipe for years, and you have NAILED it! The only difference is that grandma used dark brown sugar. Much love to you.

My Granny made butterscotch custard pies for my Grandad all the time, his favorite. But only with a meringue topping. Haven't made it in years what with all the Keto/sugar free trends. Think I'll make one today Paula!

I love pies. I make them often because I really get tired of cakes. I know I can freeze them. I got a kitchenaid stand mixer and made a pie with meringue and I have never seen meringue like that before. The meringue was beautiful and sometimes my mother used to call it weepy, when the little beads come up...that meringue did not do that. I am going to make some divinity for the holidays since I have a good mixer that will do that. Honestly, I do not like kitchenaid mixers, they are so heavy. I still have to scrape the batter down when making a cake even with the blade, flour goes everywhere even with that plastic thing over the top. I can barely pick it up. LOL It has enough power to make divinity for Christmas this year. I almost burnt up the motor on my Sunbeam mixer that I have had for over 40 years. Thank you Paula for all the amazing recipes you share with us. I got tears in my eyes when you were talking about your precious brother. Love you Paula. I can not wait to make this pie and make whip cream with my mixer. I have not tried whip cream yet. I had the mixer put away and thought I ough to get it out and use it, even though I don't really care for it.

That looks mighty fine. I tell ya, I'd rather have pies than cakes any day. Not too crazy about a cake. Plus pies are some of the easiest things to make.

I have had my tempered eggs get a slight “piecy”, but I strained the pudding in a sieve and it worked out just fine. Although I would rather NOT have had to do the extra work!!! Thanks for the video Paula!

Eddie can you please correct the problem of Paula's videos not being posted on the Internet for over 3 hours after being able to watch them on KZbin at 6am. I live in Texas central time. Again, to summarize, at 6am I view the show on my tv on youtube. But then I go Google the show to check either the ingredients or make a comment and there is no video of the show. It only posts over 3 to 4 hours around 9 to 10 am central time. I am sure if this was corrected it would increase her comments which helps the algorithms. Perhaps this should go to the social media dept. Also everybody enjoys Paula's video's outside the kitchen too. Can we please see the finished master bedroom, bath, den with the place, closet and dressing room. We would love to see the color Paula choose for the bedroom and of course your painting the "wallpaper". Thank you and Theresa for both of your help. Paula sure is blessed to have you both.

Bless you Miss Paula. Bubba is still with you watching after you and all your babies. I miss my daddy and mama and all my ppl as well. I completely get it!!! You have been with me through all my hard times while my parents were sick and dying. I use to watch you back in 2005 at the hospital with my daddy while he was sick. Never put plastic wrap over a hot food. It leaches chemicals into the food automatically. Let the food cool first to a lukewarm THEN place the wrap over it.
