Love Gold Accents? How to use Rub n Buff to Update your Look

Hey girl! New subscriber and fellow KZbin friend here 🥰. I literally just finished spray painting my faucet Matt black and love it. I was thinking of doing the rub and buff. Maybe for my next project 💗

How is the color holding on the hardware? I’m considering doing mine yet not sure since they are for my kitchen cabinets where constant use will be happening.

Thanks Tony! We don't use the drawers very much so there is little wear and tear, but so far they look as good as the day I did them! I think spraying the sealer really helped protect them. Good luck on your project!

Hi! I think I just ordered the same vanity lights you have here and I'm trying to match fixtures too! Do you think the way it shows up in the video is a good read on the actual color of those lights? ~Thanks for the video!

it's not a 100% match between the lights and handles so if they'll be side by side I think it'll be noticeable, but for my purposes, it's pretty close. If you want an even closer match, it might be worth trying to blend antique gold with another more yellow rub and buff to get the perfect color.

That rub and buff got in my nerves today 😂 it kept caking up no matter how thin I made the coats

Oh no! I noticed that happening a bit when I was doing my project as well. Were you able to use a brush and flick the caking off at all?
