I'm proud of myself for casting on a new pair of socks for my son. After taking a break from knitting and realizing Fall soon approaches. I'm close to finishing my first pair of socks for the year. The yarn I'm using is Lazer Sheep Yarns in the color Space Sheep. I'm using Lang Yarns Jawoll Super wash yarn for the heel and toe. Absolutely in love with the color combination. Planning on knitting up a second pair of socks to go with this current pair in the making.

The dress looks fantastic, Natalie! Nice work! After you finish the prequel series by Julia Quinn, she has a series about the Smythe-Smith girls that is really good, too (that takes place after Bridgerton).

I’m feeling the same way this morning. 2 weeks into school and my 7 year old is already home sick. Trying to keep a 4 year old away from her is difficult so yeah I’m feeling a little anxious and stressed. I decided to have some quiet time and sit down, watch your podcast and knit while my sick girl sleeps and my other girl watches Pocahontas.

Love your Alpenglow colors! I'm also doing one with some purple vibes (just cast on yesterday) so I'm excited to see yours come together as well! I agree with you that picking the colors was the most stressful part for this project. I waffled a lot and still am not 100 percent sure about mine (partly just because I don't have much purple in my wardrobe so it's out of my comfort zone) but I really think it will be really pretty.

I was hoping to start diving into the PFS Class. I have the yarn, I have the handouts printed, I have the supplies gathered including the cardboard. My 4 1/2 year old dog Raven kept me awake tooooo much last night so I’m tired and having a hard time focusing. At least I know I’m ending my night with Kay (Crazy Sock Lady) and the in person knitting group. Your dress is gorgeous. It looks great on you. Hope the rest of your week is good.

How does the dress handle sitting and bending? Do you find that it gets baggy? Or does the negative ease take care of that?
@hazeluzzell2 жыл бұрын
The correct pronunciation is definitely ‘Musselbura or burer’ Edinburgh is mispronounced in America in the same way. It is Edinbura or Edinburer.

@amandab.39542 жыл бұрын
Hi Stephanie! Sometimes the designers sell on their personal websites or on Etsy, so you could try doing a Google search to look up the designers and see, and if not you could always reach out to the designer directly to see what options are available!

Can we please falsify things the granny strip blanketvwas not invented by attic 24 but by Weldon practical needlework in 1891 many granny have been made using this template sorry to moan but let's not forget these tadiins are old old old and we should acknowledge this to glorify the craft instead of belittling it.
@hmbutler132 жыл бұрын
I don’t think anyone is trying to “belittle” the craft. Attic 24 used the granny STITCH to create a pattern for a blanket. By mentioning the pattern and who created it, we have a resource to use in order to get the same effect. People are allowed to use stitches created in whatever year, however they choose to do so. A stitch is simply that, a stitch. It is not a pattern that was stolen and claimed as someone else’s.
