Thank you for this. I'm praying for all the broken and lost people in marriage to find their way through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May God bless you all and mend whatever is broken through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Awesome teaching, Pastor Mark. Thank you for honoring Sean and allowing him to share his thoughts on marriage. Sean has a heart to see people set free, as he un tirelessly goes from city to city, proclaiming the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. You are both shining lights and beacons of hope in a world that has completely lost its sense of direction. May the Lord preserve and protect you both and grant you His wisdom from above, as you expose the hidden works of darkness. Sean’s tribute for his wife on X, for Mother’s Day was so beautiful.

Amen! Definitely, the most traumatized generation in modern history. This sexual war on children, young people, is horrible. Thank you, Jesus, for your grace and sacrifice to crush the loser enemy. 🙏❤️✝️👑

My mother had an adult women sleep over - she was born in 1936. Out of 6 women - 5 were molested. It is not a recent phenomenon. Your moms and grandmoms - sometimes dads and granddads too - have been there.

She also praised Mark for not having any answers - aka being passive and not leading her to a solution.

I don't know that gen z is the most assaulted, they are speaking out more. I'm gen x and it happened to me, we just didn't talk about it

Mark--Please be mindful of the company you keep and who you ally yourself to. I tried to call our Sean Feucht years ago on his teaching and love of the "Passion "translation"" of the Bible and he kept on with it instead of turning from it. I don't know where he is now but it is worth noting.

I'd imagine as a whole there are probably more misleading marriage counselors and counselors in general than there are beneficial ones. Obviously those are the ones to seek but they're so few and far between, even alot of the "Christian" counselors have lost their minds

The statistics on it are shockingly high at how bad marriage counselors are. People reporting it taking 3 or more and first couple causing more damage to the marriage. When we needed counseling we went to a local Pastor who’s got a real anointing and he even tells people “I’m a not a counselor. I am a Bible teacher” but everything he guides you through is biblical answers. He had a huge role in saving our marriage. He’s a counselor more than he knows.

I think this pattern of bringing up past issues is a tool of the enemy. I don't discredit their impact on a life, I just think Jesus would want us to move on faster than we think.

You can only expose and bring to the Light the things that you allow to surface. Repentance sets us free and allows us to forgive those who’ve sinned against us. To ignore deep spiritual wounds and allowing them to go untreated, would be like ignoring symptoms of a disease, that given time, would prove fatal.

Also how does this not violate 1 Timothy 2? And why would it be a good idea to get on stage and share this? We all have something in our past that went wrong, Jesus didn't tell us to share that with thousands of people on the internet nor from the pulpit. What's going on here? 🤨
@JeffBetsch9 ай бұрын
Taylor, be more specific about which verse in 1 Timothy 2 your referring to. My initial instinct is your thought is not being clearly stated and I would like further clarification as you are sounding, to me, as leaning towards legalistic. I pray that's not the case and would like to gain further understanding of your objections
@taylorkeller36619 ай бұрын
@@JeffBetsch it appears to me that Mark's wife is teaching to an audience that includes men. Re-read 1 Timothy 2 and let me know what you think.

You are not offended by the discussion of a sensitive issue affecting many in the body of Christ. You simply dislike Pastor Mark and Sean, and their lives offend you. :-(
