Hey Rob, I like you're attitude, and often it's not like you're saying something new but rather just interpreting it in a way for the average person to understand (or understand better). So props on that. I'm only 23 at the moment, however I can see how my life is taking an awesome turn for the best and hopefully (with some effort, and luck) I'll be able to pull off my dreams like you have done too. I like cars, and I like programing. My only real option to be successful and happy with that combination is to become a programmer and afford nice cars. I can't really just become a mechanic or something because then I won't be able to afford the cars I want, and I will pretty much give up programming. What I'm doing is pretty much a gamble but hopefully it pays off. I pretty much want to follow in my dad's foot steps because he pretty much had the same dream as I do. He became a successful programmer and was able to afford his other passion which is cars. He bought one of my favorite cars, even before he had it. A Nissan GTR. You give the GTR a lot of shit Rob but that's ok. I like your Lamborghini and I just hope I can have a similar life as you in the future.

I love you're videos Rob. I'm a senior in high school. My dream, like yours, is to have an exotic car. A Ferrari 599GTO (that looks as close to a 599XX as possible), mainly because I love Ferrari and the 599 is basically the only model that comes stock that some 6'7" kid can drive and well it is my favorite. I moved to Vegas this summer because I want to get my foot in the door of the entertainment industry (music/theatre production). I feel that is my passion and that is what I want to do. I do have a job, but it's freelance so it's yet to be very consistent. I work my ass off doing that, it's a very physically demanding occupation, but I love it and and walk out happy (especially at $25/hr.). Your videos continue to inspire me to try my hardest to achieve my dream. Thank you.

Hi Rob, I just discovered your channel tonight after typing "how to own a lamborghini " into KZbin. .Boom! ! Your video was 2nd down and I loved it, such no bullshit refreshing insight .I'm looking for your 2nd one now. ..I'm in love with Lambo's too and if we sold our investment property I could easily buy one but instead like you said, I'm working out businesses I can start at the moment that will earn me my dream car in next 5 years. ...and I'm a non woo woo type of bloke zone boy there's a lot to be said for knowing what you really want in your heart and head and putting that energy into your own universe. ...last weekend I went to a random bar in the Asian city I'm living in and at the table behind me I hear a conversation start up about racing Lambo's - dude ends up being like the President of Lamborghini club! !!...so I had to get up the balls to cold intro myself and well. ...got his number. ...I'll be in contact soon with him for a possible little business venture and what better way to decide which model Lambo I WILL own. ....can't wait to watch the rest of your video's mate! !

Thanks for the video Rob! You basically worded out what I've been dealing with for my my entire stay at college. I love computers, science, and cars, but I can't see myself getting to where I wanna be just by being passionate about them. When they say that you'll never work a day in your life if you love what you do, they forget to mention what's before all that: slaving away, studying, and beating on the craft that you wish to pursue. It'd be like wanting to become a doctor but overlooking the fact that you'd have to get a bachelors degree, go through 4 years of med school and multiple years of residency after that. It's always work then play.

I'm 16, i turn 17 in march. i have a IT Apprenticeship in a private school doing networking and a basic IT technician roles, i don't particularly like working with the teachers and the kids however, i know that i will get my Microsoft qualifications, ComTIA A+ and N+ from it so i will stick it through the year, i will then hopefully be able to of generated enough side business contacts to setup my own business doing some form of IT (What ever i come to like the most from my apprenticeship(networking or technician. so far networking is more enjoyable)). i know its a stretched dream but its what i will have and what i want, if i have to take a couple of shitty jobs before i can get my own business im alright with that. Owning a business is something that i feel has to be done, my dad has owned 2-3 businesses and i want the level of personal achievement i feel he has got, from becoming successful, even in a local area only, just to be known as the guy who worked his way for it no matter the background.

My biggest problem is: I don't want to work for 8 hours every day AND I want to be able to travel with my bike across Europe, Asia, Africa etc. Salaries in Serbia are very low (for example, I get about $350 per month and for another example, 1 liter of fuel costs over $1.5). I am 25 and I think that NOW is the best time to travel, I don't need a lot of money when I'm older :) I have no other passions except motorcycling, cars, traveling and filming (the last one is very hard to bring you money here).

Hey Rob, I have a question for you. I often come to your videos for advice and inspiration so hopefully you can help me out a little bit. I want to buy a car and now that I am working I am finally able to. Personally, I want to buy a rolling chassis, one of a muscle car or import preferably. But I also go to school full time and work part time. I love cars and I really want something with a manual and rwd and always wanted to build something of my own. Kind of like the Rotsun/ Datsun 240z on Roadkill or your Lincoln. However, I work from 4 to 9 am everyday and right now I depend on others for a way to work. I really don't want to buy an average everyday first car like a 90s corolla, civic, etc. but I'd like to have a car sooner rather than later and like I said earlier, I don't want to settle for something just because it's quick and cheap. I believe I worked hard enough to treat myself to something I want. What would you suggest? Just buy one like at an auction or something or go ahead and build one?

Ill give you advice someone else gave me. Buy something that YOU can work on and that means dont buy something where youre in over your head just because you see something on TV and they make it look easy. Do you have the tools to do it? Buy something that is either A) Cheap right now and in a few years WILL be worth a lot of money because of the rarity, desire for one, etc. or B) Is not rare at all, but is still a good investment for what it is. I stopped putting money into my daily Subaru Legacy currently rotting away and am working on my 77 Corvette. Dont buy someone elses headache

My first car that I bought on my own is my 1996 Mitsubishi FTO. gyazo.com/480f32eaf6c76795811140f4cf01fa64 It is now a daily driver/show car. Now I have a tuned track car as well a 1999 R34 GTR. My FTO still runs well because it runs clean and it hasn't been trashed and it only cost me 5000 (1000 insurance + registration) to buy and around 500 in repairs.
