That's one of many reasons Head make music Kayla. He wants to inspire people to do good and change their life around and hopefully come to Christ as he did. I am going to pray for you and hope you don't mind but I read this and felt lead to do it so here goes. Heavenly father I come to you and lift Kayla's name up unto you lord. I pray you give this young woman peace from all the darkness that torment her lord and heal her from her depression and all that make it hard for her to live life as you intended us to live lord. Fill her with the love only you can give and show her the peace of mind you offer to us all. Jesus I thank you for this blessing and praise you. Jesus it is in thy holy name I pray amen. God be with you always Kayla :)

As much as I love my now ex girlfriend, it took us breaking up for me to regain my faith in Jesus Christ. Since being saved and giving my life away, I’ve given up my lustful desires that I was a slave to. I gave up marijuana as it was clouding my judgement from God. And I’ve changed my musical taste from the secular music I’ve been listening to to more things like this. Thank you guys for still giving me the ability to enjoy Rock and praise God! I’m still going through the storm of the breakup, but I wouldn’t change a thing as it brought me back to Christ. Now all I can do is hope and pray she’ll eventually come back, but that’s not up to me, I pray that God has her as a part of his plan for me. Keep me in your prayers brothers and sisters. ❤ Christ is King

My life, your death, I’ve been contemplating And I let you go as you disappeared I didn’t see it standing there, I didn’t see it fall apart And everything was so unfair I had to walk away to get it right And by the way, I’m doing all right and you don’t know What I had to give to walk away and live again, I’ll always miss you And, and by the way, I think about you and the memories are never gonna leave I know I’ll see you there with me, where we will always be alive You’re gone, I’m here, it’s completely unfair And my gifts, your scars, I will carry now Did you see me standing strong dying with a broken heart From your fatality? So why’d you have to go? Why did you go? And by the way, I’m doing all right and you don’t know What I had to give to walk away and live again, I’ll always miss you And, and by the way, I think about you and the memories are never gonna leave I know I’ll see you there with me, where we will always be alive (I don’t know how to go on) I hate you didn’t make it, I’m so devastated (I don’t know how to go on) I’m holding onto memories, dying in my misery (I don’t know how to go on) I’ve never felt pain like this (I don’t know how to go on) Tell me how to go on And by the way, I’m doing all right and you don’t know What I had to give to walk away and live again, I’ll always miss you And, and by the way, I think about you and the memories are never gonna leave I know I’ll see you there with me, where we will always be alive

In march of 2016 i lost my girlfriend of only a year, but had known eachother much longer, to a car accident. This song,for the last 2 1/2 years has helped get me thru not having her in my life. Of course there r other songs that touch a chord ( especially Jenny by Nothing More) that helped me too, but it was this one that has prolly helped keep me from joining her, wherever she is. She told me she loved me that day for the very first time before she left. I didnt get to say it back cause i was so surprised i couldnt before she was out the door. Just like Brian, "i hate she didnt make it and I am still devastated". And at times i didnt know how to go on. This song is how. Thank u Brian "Head" Welch. U prolly saved my life. Thank u.

Thank you Love & Death for making this song/video.

Is he talking about drugs, a girl, or someone passing?? Cause it could be all 3.. He got clean and got this band. He might miss his past and relive his memories. Or someone passing seems legit too because he talks about a fatality and and something dying. Or could it be a girl? With no explanation required.
@adamoberle797110 жыл бұрын
True he could be talking about all three, letting go of things that was holding him down from living actual life. Not being so hurt by human beings that done him wrong to even, having a part of the song in memory of a loved one thst past. Its all how a person hears it to the own life that courages them to fight on through things.
