LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics: Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood People live in fear, covered in mud Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters There is a thousand, a thousand of evils Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and all for one forevermore SOLO: midori Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall Reincarnation, wait for your call Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters Morning star and dying moon Into the Gates of Hell we march Mighty soul, let there be hope Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal What do we live for?What do we fight for, tonight? But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for Only have one thing on our mind Facing the fate, holy war SOLO: miyako / midori / both Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and all for one forevermore What do we live for?What do we fight for, tonight? But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for Only have one thing on our mind Facing the fate, holy war ----- lyrics: LOVEBITES music: Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) album: Electric Pentagram 01/29/2020

This has become my favorite band in the last 6 months over previously Iron Maiden since the 80's. Depending on which way you want to go slower - Swan Song with Choplin intro or Epilogue or totally flat out with Dissonance or Soldier Stands Solitarily on their newest album. All great songs.

What up Mark?! Lovebites is what Maiden was to me. I never thought I would ever love a band again like this.

Thanks for giving the ladies another try. Miyako (Dean/dark hair) is a classical trained pianist, try Swan Song with Chopin Etude intro LIVE to see just how your statement about classical music and metal truly is. Try Raise Some Hell LIVE to see some real crowd interaction. These women are world class and Midori/blond/ESP and Miyako a/k/a the M&M show are the best duo especially LIVE playing today, see Sign of Deliverance LIVE to see how they are in total sync at insane speeds. Yeah LIVE is a popular term as these women are flawless perfection on a stage.

The pentagram on the drum represents their third full-length album "Electric Pentagram," which was released one month before this concert, and the band performed mainly songs from this album. The pentagram has also been used as a "talisman" around the world since ancient times, and in Japan it is famous as the family crest of the Yin-Yang master "Abe no Seimei," who was active 1,000 years ago.

They use an upright pentagram because they don't support Satanism. The pentagram represents the five band members and is a symbol of protection and unity.

Cool, thanks for checking them out again!! You kind of described a big influence in this band, Miyako playing the Dean is a classical trained pianist, then she picked up the guitar too!! One of the things this band does so well is bringing classical influences to their sound, and Miyako said the same you did, how classical music and heavy metal are so close to each other!! 🤘

Glad you came back to check another one out. Lovebites are as Metal as any band and their range goes from Rock to Power Metal, Speed to Thrash, with some prog metal mixed in here and there. I am 53 and when I listen to them, I can pick up elements from my teenage years from bands I grew up listening to while hearing their own spin on it and that is what makes them special to me. I hope you continue on your journey to listen more and discover how talented they are not just as musicians but as composers as well. Have a good day Sir.

they already had no peer back then 2020. in august 2021 they went on hiatus, because the bassplayer miho left on friendly terms and two of them (singer asami and black haired guitarist miyako) became mothers. now they are back with new bassplayer fami and a groundbreaking album "judgement day.", two of their concerts of the tour in japan in september are already sold out. I´d recommend to check "soldier stands solitary", the best song from the new album. very rewarding, like the deep lovebites rabbit hole. thanks for coming back to them, bro.

Thank you for following LOVEBITES. The pentagram on the Haruna drum is not a Western pentagram. The pentagram is surrounded by a wolf representing the five girls. In Japan, the five elements of yin and yang, which became the basic concept of Yin-Yang Tao, or the five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water, expressed their conflicting functions, and the pentagram was valued as a talisman to ward off all kinds of evil. Thus, the pentagram represents the protection of these women. P.S. Miyako(G-Key and Piano Black hair) turned 33 years old on April 5, 2023.

Not sure about Joe Satriani but I know Miyako loves Gary Moore and Ritchie Blackmore. They studied all the greats though from what I heard even back to Iommi.
@garykeeling2275 Жыл бұрын
According to the ladies, the main guitar influences for Miyako (dark hair) are Gary Moore, Ritchie Blackmore, Kirk Hammett and Eddie Van Halen, and more recently Yngwie Malmsteen. Blonde-haired Midori cites Kiko Loureiro, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Nuno Bettencourt as her major influences, as well as Tipton and Downing. It's entirely possible that Miyako is also influenced by Satriani, but she has not mentioned him specifically, as far as I know (though she does mention Kirk Hammett, who is a Satriani protege). Midori is the one who is more likely to have influences from classically-oriented masters like Satriani and Vai, whereas Miyako trained her guitar skills in a more blues-oriented direction. That has been changing lately, though, especially as Midori has been teaching Miyako some of her guitar skills.

Actually.. The pentagram has been used in Zen buddism (Religion in Japan) for a long time. The pentagram has been seen on Sumerian 3500 BCE pottery and about 5000 years ago the symbol was found in the Liangzhu culture of China. 1 point up is male, 2 points up is female. In modern time someone thought they could use the pentagram for the dark side. SO the Pentagram has another meaning in Asia! Even Christians once commonly used the pentagram to represent the five wounds of Jesus.

The pentagram, five-sided star, is actually a symbol believed to represent harmony and balance. In fact, Japanese Shinto religion has used the pentagram as a religious emblem for centuries. Dating back over a thousand years, Japanese “onmyouji,” shamanistic masters of ying and yang, have studied astronomy, astrology, geography and other natural sciences. The pentagram, or five pointed star symbolizing the five basic elements wood, fire, soil, gold and water. Inverted one is considered evil and auspicious.

LOVEBITES songs for those who love metal and classical... *Lost In The Garden *DYSTOPIA SYMPHONY These songs were composed by Miyako, a guitarist and classical pianist. I think it's a wonderful piece that blends classic masterpieces into metal. However, both are only music tracks, unfortunately there are no live videos or music videos.

The young lady you commented on early is Miyako, she pick up the guitar when she 17/18 yo. Self-taught, just a How-To book and a guitar!! But she began piano lessons when she was 3 yo!! She is the main composer and does her own arrangements. Asami, vocals is the main lyricist. You need to listen to the Japanese bands of the 80's/90's before you state who influenced the Japanese bands of today.

I was commenting only on the style and patterns, which were very Satriani-esque.

That makes sense. But she doesn't play at Yngwie speed. I think she can, but she doesn't. I hear Satriani all over of it.
