Eric, in every reaction to LOVEBITES you say EXACTLY what I think about the band. We differ on zilch. They are the bar, and no one will be able to reach it until they retire because they are greater than the sum of their parts fuelled by a crowd that becomes greater than the sum of its parts and so it goes on in a joyful feedback loop. It’s the joy that makes them the best there is, was and will remain.

Hi how are things. Nice to greet you and subscribe to your channel. I loved your review, both of this magnificent song and of the group in general. These ladies are great. and I love the analysis you did on Asami. It is so complete, so perfect and so...poetic. You are a wise and sensitive man in equal parts. It is the first time I have seen a reaction where Asami's qualities are really valued, it seems that all the bloggers undervalue her, they don't even bother to comment on her, they even criticize her. For them there are only the wonderful M&Ms and partly Haruna. The group is all girls, there are FIVE of them, each one with her own comment, each one exceptional and very professional.

Lovebites doing Lovebited things,. Miyako bouncing around & engaging with Midori & Fami just adds another layer to this, Fantastic. The whole group has become more expressive since Fami joined the band. With her infectious smile and personality you can see why. I had no complaints before, but they have added the extra layer. I agree they always have something that just sounds familiar that you enjoyed in the past. Appreciate the deeper insights as always.

Hey, Eric it your friend here in Clarksville and you are 1,000 percent right. They are the standard and the best metal band today, I'm a 80's metal head and I will put these ladies up against any 80's metal band.
@noelle355111 ай бұрын
You are right. However, being present during the late 70s and through the 80s, I thought there was something missing. A holy grailesque band that would be the epitome of all that has gone before! 30 years later, it appears in the form of Lovebites!

Just brilliant analysis and review. They somehow sound familiar and comfortable, IMO, because they are the legitimate successor and the guarding angels of the authentic metal, hence they play the authentic metal of 21st. century. If you like neo classics, try to make a doubleheader reaction to a couple of Yngwie Mulmsteen's Far Beyond The Sun cover. One is Miyako of Lovebites play on piano as a piano etude like F. Chopin. The others done by Unlucky Morpheus violin cover. They both interpreted it with beautiful arrangements. Miyako version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYPdg4Gfn9OUgaM Unlucky Morpheus version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2PLi3ewf9VshsU in the case of Unlucky Morpheus plays it in live as well. It is just an incredible performance.

They are the masters of metal now. That simple. But when it comes to straight thrash, the album Petro Dragonic Apocalypse by KGLW is the standard to beat.

The song alone is already better than some of the energy drinks out there, but damn, even if you have this video on mute it's entertaining as hell! I've already made the assumption that they must have taped the microphone to Asami's hand so she wouldn't throw it into the audience. I think some baseball pitchers could learn a thing or two from her. :) M&M as always a dream duo, the pocket-sized power station Haruna as precise and powerful as ever and Fami who actually makes a lightshow obsolete, as she just lights up the whole venue with her smile.... A great song, an awesome performance, what more could you want? 🔥🤘🏻 _____________________ _"America invented rock. England improved it. And now, Japan has perfected it."_ ※ Band-Maid ※ Gacharic Spin ※ Lovebites ※ Nemophila ※ East of Eden ※ Hanabie ※ Asterism ※ Trident ※ etc.

Eric, if there was ever a Lovebites song you should react to, Soldier Stands Solitarily kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWHciJypnrd1q68si=J0iMOnlgdhSUXStr. This song revalidates Haruna is not human, she can't possibly be. This is the last song of their setlist (song 15 or 16), before the encore and my God. Haruna isn't even breaking a sweat. All 5 of them are insanely great in this one. Of course written by Miyako. The Queens of Metal. 🤘

Fami Fami Fami! watched Tesla "Coming at you live" (Live) good song but the first thing I noticed about it were how mundane the Bass and Drums were through most of it (especially the Bass) the drums during the extended soloing was just plain BORING (to my now japanese ified ears). Japanese music has made me to aware of the deficiencies of the music I used to love in my younger years.
