I saw this song twice this year - once at the belgian concert rehearsal, and then at the concert, one meter from me! "Impressive" is a weak word to describe it! And would you believe it? My favorite band since I heard Shadowmaker, 6 years ago. Fenomenal discography.
@mmcpa4 күн бұрын
Amazing doesn't describe them strong enough. To embrace a past forgotten metal sound from the best era of metal ever (late 70's to early 90's), and to do so at elite/virtuoso levels, it's breathtaking. There is no weak link in this band, none, period. The amount of hours they must practice to be as close to technical perfection as it gets, and to have choreographed stage moments while looking like they are having a blast, is refreshing. This one band now stands alone as my favroite band ever. Miyako now stands alone as my favorite musician ever - I grew up playing piano, and I love thrash/speed metal the most, and to see Miyako do both, and to do so playing two instruments at virtuoso levels, as well as composing/arranging, just hits home to me.

Do I want something for Christmas? One "little" thing: an announcement by Lovebites that in 2025 they will do another extensive UK/Europe tour. I had the privelege to see them this year in Lindau, Germany - and that was a night to remember for a very, very long time. To say it bluntly: I want more of this miraculous band. Please, ladies - make this member of the Wolfpack a happy man. And about this song: absolutely breathtaking how they pull it off live - it's impeccable, supreme authority. And as a beautiful bonus there's the pleasure of watching the best and happiest drummer on the globe: the incomparable Haruna. What an excellent musician, what an adorable woman she is.

I'm a bit astonished about how well Haruna and Fami went together. Tells a bit about the respect they got for each other and their skills. Fami is more like a "rogue" player, compared to Miho who enjoys staying in the pocket. You see more and more of this kind of playing. Like Mina (Mike Shinoda - Already over, Japan), Wakazaemon (East of Eden, Marty Friedman group), Kanade (Lovebites audition, NEK!).

I think one of the easiest things to do with Lovebites is to become a fan of Haruna (drums). With Miyako (Gutiar) it always takes the longest but is then the most intense. But one thing is certain, in the end you are enthusiastic about every single musician in Lovebites, including Miho, you pay attention and look forward to every little thing. I have never experienced that with any other band, it has nothing to do with male or female, I am tough, who can do what and how does it fit together, with Lobeites it is just Jedi level. With most bands something or someone always bothered me. The Lovebites sound is unmistakable, a snippet is enough. Lovebites has just finished the first quarter of their career, and they work and practice like crazy and see a lot of room for improvement 🫢 The band is in the top heavy metal league. For me they are right at the top 😀 but everyone has to decide for themselves 🫡
