Taken down and the LIVE version is the best especially watching Miyako lug the KEYTAR around while the rest of the band is LTAO at her (all in good fun) the music nerd playing the nerd instrument!! The song is a salute to '80 arena rock bands and Miyako does the Rick Wakeman/Keith Emerson keyboard intro and dominates (some would say smothers) the song!!!

Lovebites are the Goddesses of heavy metal. Awesome opener song. Lovebites did a cover of Helloween`s Eagle Fly Free and Miho has a small bass solo in it. Lovebites is my most favorite band. I play their music every day almost exclusively to all others.

In the beginning, the different color wolf heads over the moon represent the band members, purple for "Natural Born Head-Banger" Miho, orange for "little BIG Engine" Haruna, blue for "The Golden Touch" Miyako, red for "The One And Only Voice" Asami & green for "Crazy Shredder" Midori (which means 'green' in Japanese). They come together to form LOVEBITES and the wolf heads are embedded in the golden pentagram, a "Golden Destination" and symbol of protection. This concert celebrates their CD "Electric Pentagram" released 3 weeks previous. Their intent, to protect Heavy Metal from darkness and obscurity. You see Miho singing along, as they are her words she wrote, inspired by watching Slayer from side-of-stage at Download Festival 2019. Miho also wrote the music, in collaboration with friend-of-band, keyboardist Mao. Most people praise Haruna's endurance for her continuous double kicks and she very much deserves that praise but Miho was there with her step for step plus she had to support Miyako and Midori during their solo harmonies and duets. Miho did a lot for Lovebites and she will sorely missed. With each studio release their songs keep getting better. Most bands would be content with Awakening from Abyss but Lovebites just keeps breaking that ceiling. I really don't know how they'll top Glory, Glory to the World with their next album but somehow it will happen.

Well said and Miho/Lovebites and Marko/Nightwish were 2 bassists that added so much to their groups often not appreciated but their leaving have left a void and even filling it with a great bassist (Jukka from Wintersun is excellent but not Marko) will still leave a void that will force the bands to adjust. I hope that the new members bring something special to the bands and expand their output and make us miss the masters a little less!!!

Well I am still stunned how Haruna played in the Sgt. Peppers straitjacket even for this one song (they ditched the straitjackets after the opening). Those jackets look so uncomfortable I am not surprised that they ditched them so quickly, then again only LB could perform in them, while in gowns and high heels flawlessly!!! Would love to see some of the other male metal bands try that out, actually I pay to see that show(LOL)!!!

I love this band so much but I really love Miho and her energy. She's so cool. Like another person said her favorite bassists are Steve Harris from Iron Maiden and Nikki Sixx from Motley Crue. So awesome!

Nice comparison to Markus Groskopf because they did a cover to Eagle Fly Free and there as you remember is a little bass solo as well as a drum solo. So you just got to react to it. My favourite songs are though Under the Red Sky live 2019 and Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath live 2020

Such a late reply, but I was cruising around looking for reactions to Thunder Vengeance, as this has become my favorite song of theirs. There's songs they do with better dual harmonies, Miyako's piano skills, Asami belting back to back F5s, but even so, I keep coming back to Thunder Vengeance. Love this band and this opener. It has a little bit of everything the band can do, acts as a bit of a teaser, and it even has a Haruna drum solo and Miho full body headbanging. Without a doubt, my favorite live band and I hope to see them one day.

I've only discovered Japanese rock/metal music a few years ago. BabyMetal was the first. Then got into Band Maid and Lovebites. Saw Band Maid in concert back in 2019. They are awesome. Recently got the Lovebites live CD of this Zepp concert. It's awesome! I keep replaying Thunder Vengeance. The breakdown is killer. I sincerely hope to be able to listen to them again as soon as possible, but this silence that persists for more than a month, even on the official website, makes things not exactly quiet, finding a talented bassist to replace Miho is not at all easy, meanwhile time passes! And although the rock of the LVs is different, the Nemophila shockwave has already arrived, the NPs are the best along with the LBs.
