Second is life's harsh-truths & wisdom to be gained (Most Devastating Observations) Third is self-empowerment, perseverance & personal-responsibility (Maiden gallop?) Though these 3 are not necessarily a collective 'message', they are for me, as is most of LOVEBITES catalogue of songs. Always honest, always empowering. Can you imagine having Haruna's stamina? The 'tightest' ensemble I have ever heard LIVE!!!!! At her departure 1/3 of all songs were from Miho, all lyrics, music with Mao. The 3 tracks have no connection with each other except Miho was the co-composer with Mao for all 3 songs, and they were played consecutively (14, 15, 16 respectively on the setlist) in the "Heavy Metal Never Dies" concert/blu-ray/DVD.

@@SomethingToDo360 A song is lyrics + music + arrangement. Miyako needs help writing songs. She's not a poet. Miyako is a composer and arranger of songs. Miho is lyrics + music + arrangement. For 2017-2021 (Miho Era) LOVEBITES recorded 45 original songs + 3 original compositions = 48 Miho's participation: Lyrics (Miho) = 12 songs Lyrics (Miho, Asami, Midori, Miyako, Haruna) =1 song Music (Miho & Mao) =10 songs Music (Miho & Miyako) = 1 song Miho wrote the lyrics for 12 songs (alone) and took part in writing the lyrics for another song with the rest of the ladies. Out of 45 songs. This is 27% of the band's lyrics.

Ive been seeing some reports about Lovebites and Nemophila..My two favorite bands on the planet..Idk whats its all about, because 99% is in Japanese, with no english subtitles..I would Love to see them on a world tour together, or at least a nationwide USA tour...😁.. because im selfish...

Currently, it's just speculation that there'll be a collab between the 2 bands because the respective members have been mixing publicly quite a lot recently, but you never know, stranger things have happened and they may very well tour together.

For reference, the First song Under the Red Sky is about the atomic bombing of Hiroshima in 1945. The verses are about the destruction, and the chorus is about moving past and creating a new life. Pretty meaningful stuff - and a bit disturbing and thought-provoking for an American.

First here is "the Apocalypse" ... but I totally agree with your analysis, more for "Under the Red Sky" than "The Apocalypse" which is a bit more 'cryptic' expression of the immediate devastation & expressions of desperation & self-examination from Miho. Asami 'uplifts' us with her & Mao's masterpiece, "Under The Red Sky"... still a show-closer. Personally, as a USA citizen, I have the deepest respect for the victims of this horrific atrocity. A humbling and deeply moving experience for me, every time with these 2 songs. My family, a bit 'too close for comfort' in our history... I am grateful for LOVEBITES, their music, their lyrics, their attitude in general, BEYOND what words can ever hope to express.
