I have the impression that people in England are more careful of their words and word choice. so when I would like to learn polite expressions, I always go for British English, and observe how they speak. I personally like to use expressions such as it's not really my thing, or I am not too keen on it, I'm not really big on it or I am not really into it, which you covered in the video.
