Hi, Sabrah! You look so fresh and really fit in this video. My favourite is "In my opinion". By the way, could we say "As I see it" instead of saying "I think"? What is the difference between "As far as I can see" and "As I see it"?

Great supplementary lesson that reminds me again that English is a highly assertive language. In my native language, we don't have an expression "I think" unless you're intentionally creating an impression that you're translating from an European language in an awkward way. Instead, we say "it is (generally) thought". In my religion, we're not even allowed to say "I think" but "God sent me a message (thought) in words that .....".

Fantastic alternatives indeed, thanks much Sabrah 🌸 I happened to say: "as I see it etc." .......... Is it wrong to use this expression? Does it sound natural? Thank you in advance ☺️
@LoveEnglishwithLeilaSabrah
@LoveEnglishwithLeilaSabrah 4 жыл бұрын
Yes it sounds natural-it is almost the same as using 'the way I see it' so rbah one is fine to use 👍😊💕 Thanks Alice!

I enjoyed watching this video. There are some phrases that I used before such as from my perspective, from my viewpoint, I guess, If you ask me, In my view, and I believe. I agree with you that saying, in my opinion, is too overused and general. Anyways, I thought why not go over it in case if I see new words and I did. I'll be looking forward to your next video.

I envisage is when you are saying you imagine or predict. Like I envisage that the life of a lawyer is a challenging one. It is a possible option but it does change the meaning.
