I have lost 25 pounds in 2 months. 3 changes were (1) only drinking water (2) walking 30 minutes a day (3) intermittent fasting from 7pm to 11am every other day. It isn't easy but after a week these became my new normal and became habits after just a few weeks. You can do it!

Everything will work if you do it consistently. I have tried a lot of diets and exercises but failed because I started a whole new routine at once and couldn't continue it for more than a week. Now, I am focusing on one habit for 30 days, and I am hopeful it will work. Just start by drinking enough water; your body needs this, and it will help a lot with cravings and overeating. Then, you can add exercise and other habits gradually

As for myself, I have increased my fiber intake from whole foods, increased my protein, decreased added sugars, and I log my food and activity level to make sure I am not going over in calories. It's so easy to do as a perimenopausal woman with a decreased metabolism (even though I am still very fit) and increased hunger!

It’s rare to find a video that’s easy to listen to bc so many drag the info out. You are very easy to hear maybe bc you seem humble and honest while delivering your own journey of weight loss. I also felt like I was with a friend instead of a health instructor. I am very health conscious but make my own mistakes in sneaky ways I don’t see everyday. I love the coffee creamer too; it’s like a hug with my first cup. I have it for a while then go cold turkey bc of the sugar. My skeleton is I started drinking during covid. I drink rum with cranberry juice or another juice, cabernet wine, sangria in summer. This out in 25 lbs bc I couldn’t walk after having covid in 2020. I know the damage all this is doing. It’s that same time of day. So I’ve realized my issue and have to fight the habit. I never ate snacks after dinner bc I never had them growing up. I do t believe in them bc I’m going to sleep so why feed my body. I have noticed my weakness for wine and will only have it outside the home. This way I won’t drink the whole bottle. It’s so easy to get hooked on things some good some not good. I’m not going to beat myself up bc covid did that for me. It wrecked havoc on most of our psychs. So, if you start out slow, it will be easier to want to challenge yourself to do more. I wish us all patience with ourselves and each other. It truly is the journey not the finish line bc it’s along the way we stumble upon meaningful stops, turns teaching us to grab it and continue

Didn’t think about the sugar free/lactose free liquid creamers I use only in my coffee every morning. Depending on the morning tsp of no sugar liquid creamer to 2tsp of it in my coffee. With my natural collagen powder. Glad I know about the stevia. Very helpful and the not eating after a certain time to give your body that time frame before going g lay down. My sister in laws brother is a doctor. And they talked about something similar to that. Basically it’s your 12 hour window. You give yourself and make your plan for yourself. It fits to your daily routine and schedule. And it has helped her and she has lost along with watching her intakes and exercising a little each day or at least 4 times a week.

@@crh251 You are right it is super hard. I decided not to stand on the balance almost at all (maybe a few times per year) and make sure I build muscle mass and hopefully loose fat around my organs so liver, gut microbiome, pancreas, heart, brain are all healthier. Once the organs are healthier they will help me loose weight faster I hope. I use supplements to help with pancreas and liver, and eat variety of plants for microbiome. It is hard for me to eat exact amount of nutrients and not to overeat at least a bit, l eat more fats and proteins according to this and other healthy eating channels, what I have challenge is the amount of nuts for example but not having heavy food addiction, strong cravings, following these rules and not gaining weight is also a success.

Instead of using a sweetener like maple syrup in plain yogurt, throw in some fresh raspberries or blueberries that are naturally sweet & full of antioxidants. If you have a sweet craving at night, one teaspoon of manuka honey is an immunity builder that tastes like an indulgence. I have lost 32 pounds by eating God-made food as much as possible, like salmon, turkey, chicken, with fresh vegetables like asparagus, mushrooms, squash, spinach, all sauteed in delicious garlic and olive oil. Your palate adjusts and actually starts craving healthy, natural foods instead of processed junk 😋 Your body is a temple; treat it as such and it will love you back ❤️

Fat is not a thing to be afraid of. Fat keeps you saturated, so does protein but carbs, they are like sugar for our body. To loose weight try to limit carb intake to not more than 100 grams. Yes, you have to up your fat intake and protein intake but you are not hungry all the time and eat less. Of course added sugar is a big no, the less the better. I quit eating pasta, rice, potato, fruits, wheat (so no classical bread), oats.. I opt for green vegetables, fish, chicken, turkey, greek yogurt (unsweetened and put a little berries and nuts on top). eggs, cottage cheese, cheese in moderation, curd, red meat in moderation as lot of saturated fat in it, avocado etc. Instead of classical bread I bake my own with almond flour, coconut flour, flaxseed flour, nut flour, chia seed flour. I don´t feel hungry but I keep my calories intake under control as you have to use up those calories you eat during the day by walking, running or doing some kind of exercise.

My biggest issue is eating late. I don't get off work until 11pm and then go home to eat and get ready for gym. But then i usually go to bed around 2am. I dont know what i can do to change that.

Strange... I never drink coffee (nor milk or cream) and I never eat protein bars, yogurt, that kind of cereals, I sometimes eat chips, but I also have months in a row that I don't... I did intermitent fasting for the last 2 and a half years, at first I lost weight, but now I am like 10 kgs fatter then I started... and I have a lot of hours of fast before going to bed, like 3-6 hours, so... great. Nothing I could use. Still, I guess I would be even fatter if I would do any of the things you say you don't do anymore. Now I am sad. And fat...
