Low and Fun Flying the Wu-Tank 6" Long Range FPV Drone over Lake Minnetonka plus Sunset flight

Took the Wu-Tank 6" Long Range FPV Quad out for some low flying over a frozen lake. I switched out the 6" Bi-Blades for the 6" Tri-Blades since I finally found some that will fit the 1.5mm shaft. Flies smoother, and can be seen in the video.
Camera used for this was the Insta360 SMO 4k with an ND 16 filter on the brighter shots, and no ND filter for the sunset footage.

Dji got away with running 2000 mah 6s lipo on a 5" you should be able to run a bigger battery on ur 6" easily! I think its gonna get you into the 10-12 min territory with tons of power.

Nice flight! Could you link which props you ended up using exactly? I have ordered the same frame and am choosing which motor / prop combo to use now. I have some old 2305 2300kv, which should be plenty powerful, but maybe a bit heavy.. do you think a 2104 2300 KV would be sufficient for a light 6 inch triblade? Actually should mention I will probably use 4s Lipo and run with an O3 air unit, so no action cam - weight might be lower in general...

I used the HQProp T6x2.5.3 since my motors use the 1.5mm T mount. And yeah I think those motors will work. The 2004 3000kv I am using using right now are bit underpowered but make for a nice smooth and efficient flight. I am going to pop some little bit bigger motors on mine at some point just to test it out

Yeah I am going to order some o3's here pretty soon, I say give it a shot and try it. 4s might be a little underwhelming but then again I am running 4s Li-Ion on mine mostly

@@CrowWingFPV My main long-range build has been a light FPVcycle fouride 5 inch with these 2104 2300 kv motors and running a 4s 1300 mah lipo. I get around 7-8 mins of fast cruising out of that with a gopro bones. I have also flown this with 3000 mah 4s Li-ion and it makes it feel like flying a sofa - but flies for ~13-14mins. For my build it must just be the current delivery from the Lipo is so much better then the Li-ion, you really feel it. Thanks for your thoughts! I am tending to try the larger motors first I think (2305). They have great control of a typical low pitch 5 inch freestyle prop, so 6 inch longrange prop should be fine. Judging by your experience with 2004, 2104 may be on the edge too in terms of getting good stability.
