Wow. I'm making this today, yup. Looks so delicious, with a crispy delightful texture, yummy. Pressing out chips, in a lined tortilla press, sounds perfect too. Thank you both, for such great ideas! Love it♡

I tried this recipe today. With garlic powder, thyme and salt. So delicious. I Just think 8 minutes is not enough. At least for me. I made holes in the middle with a fork and cooked one side for 7 minutes and the other side for 7 minutes. The result is perfect! 😊 Thank you! 🤗

I really enjoyed this recipe I did change it up a lil instead of the different spices I poured a half a pouch of ranch dressing mix, and added a pouch of true lemon and a tablespoon of splenda,garlic powder. Please keep in mind this did raised the carb count so if I am correct this recipe is about 10 carbs for the batch.

👍Well they turned out great. 😁 The idea I had to just roll out the dough and randomly break them a part after baking for a more rustic look didn’t work. I did have to use the pizza cutter to cut them but that’s okay, I used random cuts & curves. Thanks again for sharing and demoing this recipe & techniques with us. 💞

Hi Loving Atlanta, they will work rolling them out and use a pizza cutter and score before baking them. I did a Revised Flaxseed Chip. Here is the link: www.lowcarbrecipeideas.com/revised-low-carb-flaxseed-chips/. Good Luck

I'm going to make these tomorrow. My biggest hurdle with low-carb way of eating is snack food. I crave salsa and guacamole and things. I can't eat them as a dip because what to do it with :( These just might be the answer for me!

Nice video be got one major problem and that is ground flaxseed and flaxseed in general have low burn points which makes them worthless because you destroy the ingredients

Has anybody tried making flaxseed chips using a tortilla press then deep frying them? I realize this would be a far less healthy snack. However Im just curious if this or another flaxseed batter could hold up to being fried.
@GayleMcLeod9 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris, I don't think this recipe would work if you fry them,
@chrispobanz63359 жыл бұрын
Chris Pobanz Thank you Gayle. To late I tried it already. Your right frying does not work with this recipe.

+Chris Pobanz Deep frying may be even better for weight loss than baking. Having a higher percentage of fat versus protein is better for inducing ketosis.
@keithmcleod21838 жыл бұрын
+Chris Pobanz Hi Chris I have not tried frying it so I do not know how it will turn out.!

Lol..one more question can I replace the stevia with honey?
@sunshinegirl19677 жыл бұрын
I tried these and they're not very crispy. I even set them back in the oven after it was turned off and it still didn't make them much crispier.
@daveforgot1275 жыл бұрын
These could be dehydrated also
@userxyz43214 жыл бұрын
can i add salt in this recipe?
@GayleMcLeod4 жыл бұрын
I would suggest to cut back on some of the other spices and add equal amount of salt in its place. It might work by adding salt without changing the other amount of spices, its just you don't want it to be to salty. I hope this helps (I have not tried adding more salt)

Ground flax seeds need to be eaten right away or refrigerated immediately

That is correct:)
