I found a easy recipe on KZbin that uses ground flax, sesame seeds and dried Rosemary, yum The problem I see with using nut flours like almond meal or flour, is that the companies don’t pre soak the nuts to remove anti nutrients.i use a small coffee grinder for my flax and it makes a much finer meal which make it more absorbent.and I’ve found that warm water works better than cold water. I might try adding nutritional yeast for a cheese flavor, or add smoked paprika for a flavor boost.

Great video, thank you for actually having your ingredients already measured out and ready to add. I hate when people try to teach us how to measure and their video spend 20 minutes dipping into a bag pulling out ingredients. I add warm water to my flax seed mix and let it sit for 12 minutes prior to adding the other ingredients. I feel it's more pliable and the flax seed taste is more robust. Other then that, I mimic your recipe and have been for years. I use a pizza cutter to make them 1" x 1".

Hey Gayle. Newly subscribed. Love your videos. You may think me strange, but what I did, was make a cardboard template of my baking sheet, because my parchment paper was waaay to large to fit the tray. This way I no longer have to fold, nip, or tuck the PP to fit. I just pull out the desired length, place the template on top, trace the outline and cut the excess with a pair of scissors, and Bob's your uncle. Works wonders :)

Is flax seed poisonous ? How to make it safe to eat. Please tell us
@GayleMcLeod4 жыл бұрын
Flaxseed contains very small amounts of compounds that can produce cyanide, a metabolic poison. But the mere presence of these compounds does not make flaxseed dangerous. ... The cyanogenic compounds in flaxseed are a greater concern for livestock, where very large amounts are consumed.Jul 29, 2014, www.google.com/search?q=is+flaxseed+poisonous&rlz=1C1AVNE_enCA846CA846&oq=is&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i57j69i59j0l2j69i60l2j69i61.4065j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
