Man, I absolutely love when people talk about wire colors, because I’m partially color blind, so I don’t always see the same colors that they actually are. It’s honestly funny to me. 😂😂😂 I also don’t understand wiring at all, so no matter how you explained it, I still wouldn’t understand. 🤣🤣🤣

Future reference use your engine hoist and strap through open window to hold door up to vehicle. Its a pain to work around but beats balancing the door on floor jack.

I would but I’m trying to make it work with the factory switches, in a base model truck, so I’ve got an accessory relay block and im just using the factory switches to signal the relays. It’s a pain and I wish I’d just done it with universal switches but I want the oem look without swapping the entire dash and wiring out of a power window truck.

Wait a min sorry for bothering you again but finally getting to my obs project and almost finished with it but by chance do you know what wires are the 12v n ground becuz these wiring diagrams are sometimes confusing and some say different shit trying to use the oem switches and motors

Since you thought of the oem switch was it gonna be a lot harder to wire up and Thts y u went universal? I don’t need the locks cuz I got shaved doors so only worried about windows how easy is it with the oem switch or you have to change the dash harness to?

I just did the universal cause it was $30 and I only had to run a hot a ground and it worked

@@MattyXBuilds ya but i keep seeing everyone say you need the relays and whole dash harness cuz if im not wrong it sends some typa signal to the relays then to the motors but if so cant i just wired up relays and make it work some how specially since im not using the locks trying not to take out my dash cuz its paint matched so dont want risk stretching or fuking it up lil scared LOL

I believe so, if you had the factory pigtails coming off the factory switches and knew the pinout I’m sure you could make it work

Do the 95 trucks have the convenience center under the dash by where your left foot would be?

@@MattyXBuilds the 96+ years had them i know but its a grey panel with connector holes in it labeled gray, nat, blk, etc. Thats where the factory accessories would have got power

OOOHHHH yeah I’ve always wondered what it was for cause it only has like 1 relay and a couple fuses in it. Dang I’m gonna look into what I can use that convenience center for because I’ve got a few more circuits to add

@@MattyXBuilds it's got constant 12v, keyed 12v, courtesy light trigger, and a few more odds not ends. You should be able to cut a plug off of a power accessory equipped truck an splice your new power and ground to it. I believe the accessory 1 and 2 fuse in your fuse box protect the convenience center 12v outputs.
