I agree with what you said about not calling it a low hand toproll. Some people described my technique as a low hand toproll, and I didn't think that was right because it's not like I intend to drop my riser to gain some advantage. It's more like I want to clamp my pinky so that I can come through the other person's pinky.
@armwrestlingprofessor3 ай бұрын
So many newcomers I've seen attempting a low hand literally make their hand very low which makes it impossible to get out of the other person's fingers. I think high thumb toproll is a much better name and avoids this confusion
@muhammadfazlimohdfaruk70463 ай бұрын
Great Explanation💪aalso from different POV try to explain it in a strap game because in a strap it is whole new game. Even Low Hand can crack the wrist of Posting Top Roller. Try to watch Viorel Dobrin and Mindaugas Tarasaitis and few others. Overall great video and amazing channel
@armwrestlingprofessor3 ай бұрын
@@muhammadfazlimohdfaruk7046 it's the same kinda thing in strap, the low hand still gives up some ability to control the top so you need to take control up there. The bottom strap can definitely still give the low hander something to fight with but a high hander should have better hand control and be able to dominate the match. A shoulder committed move is another good option if they're only fighting with pronation
@muhammadfazlimohdfaruk70463 ай бұрын
@@armwrestlingprofessor it is call low hand but your thumb is up top. It is harder to control it when someone's thumb is higher than yours.Also length of the arms and finger plays a huge role in executing the move. It is arguable but for the Shoulder Comitted move, absolutely agree.
@armwrestlingprofessor3 ай бұрын
@@muhammadfazlimohdfaruk7046 yes good point, that's why I prefer calling it a high thumb toproll. But the thumb is up high in a different location to where a posting toproll attacks, so a posting toproll can still more easily rise up over the other person's thumb. In a posting toproll it's very important to make sure the top strap is far away from your knuckle so that it doesn't inhibit your ability to rise
