Low season walk, Sliema promenade , MALTA

My grandmother spent many a days in and near the Chalet whilst in Sliema. When I went there last year, I stayed at the hotel which you pointed to next to the old building, overlooking the old Chalet and the coast. Amazing to watch these views, whilst I know these videos are from earlier this year - thank you for continuing to show videos around this wonderful country.

Hello Steve, Thank you for your video. Your highly intelligent, you know your logic of Malta. Very interesting video of Silema My mother is from Sliema. I used too go too a club, called the pitch in Sliema. We would eat, swim and sunbathe. Lovely view. Alot of nice places to go too. Beautiful Mediterranean sea. Love, love, love it Steve. You have just walked all around my home base from my teenage years. Malta in winter is wonderful, rough seas are magnificent too. I went dancing many times at the Chalet in 1958 and 1959 (the year it closed). A gang of us used to swim from the Tower over to the Casino, some boys from Sliema polo team were strong swimmers and we were fine. Happy Days and great memories, thanks Steve.

Frequented the Chalet between 1955 to 1958 and used to snorkel off the rocks at Sliema. Great memories and thanks for the video Steve.

I was only interested in the dance music and met some lovely Maltese girls at the Chalet! I lived in Tigne Street and was based at RAF Luqa. Used to drive all over the island in my Morris 1000. Keep up your good work.

So just not sure about many museums that are closed, maybe then open ...depends what you like , night life, museums, history, seaside villages , you are in an ideal place to vist Gozo , main nalteae places, Valletta,Mdina,tgree cities, birgu being the gem there , mosta dome, fishing village marsaxlokk sunday morning market, while you are at Mdina do not forget to visit Rabat village a stones trow away, far best the best maltese cheeses cakes in malta, and many catercombs, just watch my many videos , have fun !!
