Few years back i always thought "nah no way lol" but that's literally the whole game plan of LTG and maybe 2 combos to push them back, though he runs back more of course. I remember fighting Silver players back in early days V and they had a grasp of all the tools a character had. Maybe not a lot of combo's but they where satisfying matches using all the games mechanics. Always thought DSP was worse but i really don't know now. Not defending LTG,he’s trash, but IMO, I feel like it’s the opposite and that Marisa tends to get blown up Drive Impact pretty easily. Her armor breakers are slow and easy to react to and just whiff punish with a drive impact or any normal. Then every other long range attack she has to get in with is veeeery vulnerable to DI. Unless she uses OD which I think grants her moves armor break. When she has advantage, DI is useless against her, but otherwise she just dies to it. That’s my experience fighting her anyways. Also parries wreck her shit.
