Another excellent video Brian on how to lower one's golf score! I believe I've been playing this game long enough where I do not feel I lack discipline. I'm a very technical player and I'm always seeking ways to make myself a better golfer. On scoring, I try for no more than boggy in each hole. Although not always successful, at least I have a goal. One of my fellow golfers ask me one time "do you want to par every hole?" I told him "Yes, if I can!" This has been a good series for me Brian, as have all of your videos. I hope I have enough time left in my life to work through all of them! :-)

Gee you are forging ahead today John. You are ripping through them. I always try and give my clients an adjusted par for them to shoot towards. If their handicap is 18 then a bogey becomes a Par. If their handicap is 12 then we try for 12 bogeys and 6 pars. We try and map out where they are likely to get thise 6 pars and create a game plan from there. The pursuit of par on all holes leads to some poor decisions and adds to your score unnecessarily. It is worth thinking about. I am sure you have a lot of golf left yet John. Brian

I like it Brian. I have been on the practice range too much! I am on-board all the way with you on this series. Best score shot: 88 and that was a long time ago. Just looking to better that and slowly improve.

This is an epiphany waiting for every golfer who still thinks driver, x iron is the best way to a good score. By playing a stress free shot, it frees your mind to swing easy and put you into a ‘control’ frame of mind. Thanks Brian.

Hi Brian just wanted to let you know I won my first competition at my golf course, couldn't of done it without the great advice you given me I play off a 28 hcap and shot a gross score of 81, we played stableford format and I was a runaway winner, I've only been playing 11 months, my course is a par 62 but not very long, I'd love to send you a picture of the trophy/sheild I won. Hope this message finds you well. Thanks again from your number one Scottish Fan.

Thank you for letting me know and congratulations. What a fantastic score. It doesn’t surprise me that you were a runaway winner with that score. I will bet you are no longer on a 28 hcp. I am glad my videos have played s tiny part in helping you. Keep it up Brian
