Aww, naw! You’re supposed to throw the bar down last set so it makes a loud crash then bounces up and across the room! Well,that’s how it’s done at my gym.

Haha, I see people do that all the time at my gym; they will lift the barbell high up, and then they will very clearly deliberately slam it on the floor so that it bounces a lot. I usually just give them a brief angry glare, and hope that this will give them a hint, otherwise I report it to the employees there.

I always feared dropping a shit load of iron on my knees so was taking extra extra safety margin distance which screwed my back

They never tell why you bend knees early when lowering. My hamstrings too tight i want to bend the knees early when i should be hip hinge till i pass the knees.
