That furnace needs to go I remember when I started installing back in the 90s those were called Nox Rod furnace CPSC they are hazardous due to the how low the Burners are.

Likely that heater is a 1991 or older since its a Premier make for Goodman and they stopped making them in 1991. There were issues with them. For sure replace it and I'd think the warranty company is aware that those shouldn't be serviced, only replaced.

Dedicated horizontal HCC furnace type was recalled also because it caused fires in a few houses. Should definitely have been replaced. That is unfortunate.

WW didn't do anything but look at it. The primary drain line was clogged, condenser unit had a fur coat on it, so it need a good cleaning and the line set could have used a few brass caps. It's no telling what the evaporator coil looked like, probably need cleaning too.

Walter...let us know how the insurance people respond on this one. They need a new evaporator coil but its R22 and a new evap coil requires a matching condenser. I'm unsure about Texas but I believe that those insurance companies will not spend any money on R22 parts or major parts. That means a new evap, condenser plus that heater air handler is too old and likely has a recall on it to bother with. It will be interesting to see what they decide to do...that place need more than those 3 items, new drain lines, update the electrical and maybe those ducts are bad enough to include them with the change out. That pleated filter wasn't helping their issues.

The furnace is 1991 likely so is condenser and evap coil and ductwork. Time for a complete change out no more band aids for her haha

The first problem I see is the customer not keeping his end of the appointment time. He leaves and then doesn't tell mommy you are coming over and to let you in. If its not low on charge, I'd guess a blower motor issue or a restriction in the return. Could be a bad TXV too.
