Welcome back guys!
It has been a WILD past few weeks. To be honest; my Australian tour campaign couldn't have gone any worse. I had a questionably close heat at bells and didn't rise to the occasion in my heat at Margs. As a result I failed to make the mid-season cut. Since then the WSL have handed me the 2025 wildcard which I am super appreciative for. As for 2024 I'm sure you'll see me compete at a few more stops however I won't have the chance to make my way into the surf off at lowers this year. All that said, I have loved my time here in Australia, have been able to meet some incredible people and make some even better memories. Much love to you guys for all your constant support! I'm already fired up for 2025!

Three things. Thank you for the mobility routine. Second, my son is 24 years old tall and good looking we live in Sydney not far from the Central Coast so perfect for Molly if she’s looking. Lakely your surfing is the bests it's ever been. The few observations are the younger ladies are fearless picking waves experienced surfers avoid waiting for good ones yet they are landing sections and getting rewarded for high risk rather than good surfing. PS. You lead with your left elbow instead of your hand, if you could tweak that your flow and esthetics will greatly improve giveing your turns a cleaner look and effortlessness. Stoked you have the wildcard cause we love your spunk and hate to see you leave.

❤ you are an inspiration, an excellent surfer, and a great role model and example for what and who a professional surfer is. your vlogs and shared experiences of life as a professional surfer are broadly insightful, from the experiences of tour, competition, the equipment you use, your techniques and approaches and critical evaluations, and your fitness and other lifestyle attributes, and various other travel and location insights, really are such a great way to share and utilize your many years of experience and expertise. you are at a stage in life where you already know and have experienced, and triumphed and returned from the peaks and valleys and whatever so called 'setbacks', and you demonstrate that you are committed to sustained longevity, which you clearly have proven through action. your plan to focus on your surfing, continue your trajectory, and maintain your approaches is solid, and the reality is that this is an opportunity for you to get to evolve and grow with a little more freedom and independence and perhaps without the stress or spotlight of competition, external judgement and critique, etc. i imagine that you already have clear understandings as to the pros and cons of this situation, and i encourage you to maintain your positive outlook, trust your instinct, focus on the positive and good, and as much as possible, ENJOY surfing (if that truly is your joy), your life, your health, your family and friends, love, and life to the greatest extent possible. its a cliche that when one door closes another one opens, but there is some truth in that, and as long as you continue to be positive and keep setting your goals and enjoying the process, the benefits and positive aspects of this CT situation will reveal itself. Also, that CI board looks rad, and its great to see you continuing to work with Britt and the team on evolving equipment. Channel Islands and your role with that company is important, very important, and you are a very special person to have that relationship and position with them, beyond only you and CI, but for many surfers. i hope you are having fun and will continue as such. surfing is so amazing and such a gift, and to have made it your occupation is amazing. your surfing looks great in the video. very powerful. those top turns and sprays look great, and your lines on the waves are nicely drawn. in other news, molly looks cute in pink, and her haircut suits her beautifully :) you both are fun to watch together, and its nice to see you having fun. i miss lil powerhouse caroline in your videos, but im happy that you and molly help motivate and support each other. be good :)

Loved the go pro clips. You fullas looked to be having a nuts time. The cut is too brutal. WSL judging is like playing black Jack where you scored is reflected not on your skill but on whatever cards come up. Too random. Black jacks a stink game anyway 🤣. Keep charging Lakey! Yeow!!!!

To put it bluntly, the waves have sucked at all the contest this year. This was your downfall Lakey nothing else. Like you stated: your surfing & mindset this year has been strong and the viewers see this. You receiving the 2025 wildcard is well deserved. Keep up the great surfing.
