Series "Z" ;) for the "Z" bar making it key retaining. Really cool lock! Never seen one with a Yale keyway. You can probably get it at a locksmith shop, just speical ordered. XP I've seen them with Falcon keyways.

DarkWoodPicks I just ordered a Russwin core and a Sargent KiK 😃😃😃 The Z bar can also be used to remove the shackle 😂😂

LockPicking Patrolman how do you remove the shackle with it? Can't wait to see those picked!! ;) Just the standard brass body or colored?

DarkWoodPicks To remove the shackle with the Z bar, just put it in backwards 😜 then turn the key to about 90 degrees! Just be sure not to jostle the lock around or let off tension of the key! And the KiK and core are just those, I'll use one of the several lock bodies I have 😜😜 But I do have colour coded KiK adapters with other Nickel and brass 😂😂

Pretty cool buddy, the keyway looks the same as the 500 core, I wonder what the difference (apart from the key) is.

Hobby Picker thanks! Last night I figured out that it's actually just a Y1 keyway 🙀🙀 It fit a Y1 key I had just fine! I wonder if that's true with your 500 core?

Yes mate, mine also takes a Y1 key.

Hobby Picker I've not seen them up for sale that often and not really in use either. Foxxy shared a lock recently that had a similar key, but I'll have to look back at his videos for it. I've seen that key in the wild one time but didn't get to ask about it.
